The system's CD player offers playback for CDs and CD-R/RWs, along with MP3s recorded on CD. Should listeners tire of pre-recorded music, they can switch to the digital AM/FM tuner, which includes 10 total presets (10 AM and 10 FM). And finally, the boombox comes with a dual cassette deck that records from CD, the tuner, or from other cassettes.The CD player is equipped with most of the essential CD functions, including random and repeat play, intro scan, and 20-track programming. To make recording more precise, users can activate the synchro-start recording function, which automatically starts the cassette tape when the CD queues to the proper spot. And because precision also matters when listening to music, the RC-EX30 comes with five preset equalizer patterns for jazz, rock, pop, classical, and flat, letting listeners optimize the audio to their preferred musical style.
