Customer Reviews:
Radio is nice - but was expecting more.......2007-01-11
This radio is nice. The buttons are easy to use, only uses one battery, shows battery status, but I was expecting better reception of hard to receive stations which I don't find to be the case. My mom however lives in Toronto where stations often overlap and she finds it works excellent for separating close frequencies. She owns two.
Panasonic portable FM/AM Radio.......2007-01-04
This was a great purchase. This product has a good sound is of good quality and is perfect for walking or doing chores around the house.I'm so glad I purchased it!
Save Your Time and Effort.......2006-10-11
I'm always out in the car listening to a good radio show when I get home and want to continue listening. I searched the internet for a portable radio within my means and found this. From the reviews I read it seemed like a reasonable choice. Well don't waste your time. Even with digital tuning I got so much static I could not enjoy listening to the program. I also tried switching to city mode. You could twist the radio around for better reception but it still not give you anything static free.
Best Buy for a "walking" radio........2006-08-31
I use this type of radio when I go for walks. I want dependable sound quality and ease of setting and finding stations. The Panasonic delivers all of these features. I had two versions of a competitor's model and I hated them.
For the price the Panasonic is the model to buy if you want radio, and not an MP3 player.
ok unit, not great........2006-03-19
I bought this unit mainly because it advertised good battery life, has AM/FM, and an arm band. The battery life is very good. I mostly use this in the gym, and the AM reception is terrible, FM is ok, I don't get all of the local stations when I am inside. The worse part about the unit is the armband. Its made of nylon and it does not stretch at all, and its very narrow so its very uncomfortable. Other units like this I've had in the past had wide elastic arbands that were very comfortable. The controls are in a bad place, they occasionally switch when I move around because they hit my arm.
