The speakers excel as a straightforward stereo pair, as satellite speakers in a surround sound system, or as remote speakers on the back patio. Their flexible, weather-resistant design makes them particularly valuable for gazebos, porches, atriums, garages, and covered spa areas, where they can withstand both the hot sun and the whipping wind. And should listeners not have a suitable outdoor environment--the speakers aren't waterproof, so uncovered areas aren't ideal--they can move inside and mount them on a wall, on the bookshelf, or atop a desk near a computer for multimedia use. The speakers even come with mounting brackets for indoor or outdoor wall installation.Audio-wise, each speaker includes 0.75-inch piezo dome tweeter that crisply reproduces high notes, along with a 4-inch polypropylene woofer and a 1.75-inch cone midrange.
