Video shielding makes them perfect for front or rear right and left channels of a surround sound system. When positioned at ear level, they are the perfect theater solution. The black ash case is strong and resilient. Jensen recommends an amplifier rated at 15 to 65 watts per channel be used with these speakers.

The grills broke and fell off. So much for quality. Even though they were inexpensive, I didn't expect them to spontaneously fall apart. They sound OK for rear speakers in a 5.1 theatre system.
