My 1-yr old Kodak camera was out of warranty and for some reason I was not able to transfer photos to my computer. Instead of paying a lot of money having the camera repaired, I bought this card reader hoping it would do the trick. It is small enough to fit into my camera case, lightweight, inexpensive and very simple to use. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

There are a lot of media card readers out there. I chose this one because the price was right at the time. I believe it was around $8, plus shipping. I imagine most readers work simliarly. I am pleased with this one. It's compact and easy to use.

The Kodak 8 - in - 1 Multi-card Reader, KRW8IN1SCS is a great tool for me since I have friends and relatives who visit and who have different kinds of digital cameras with several kinds of memory cards. This product works great and has helped me in getting photos ready BEFORE the holidays are done. No more switching out different readers and making the job longer than it need be.

Nice Card Reader.......2007-01-10

This is really a nice little card reader. I am running it on a Windows 2000 computer so I just plugged it in and it was recognized (no drivers to install). In Windows, each card slot is assigned a drive letter. I think most of the multiple slot card readers work that way. The media cards just plug in and out - there are no buttons to eject the cards like on some devices. The USB cable is long enough to stand the reader on top of a tower case and still reach USB ports in the back of the cimputer. Overall, this is a pretty good card reader for a low price. I could have probably found one a couple of bucks cheaper but I liked the design on this one. I am pleased with teh purchase.
