Product Description

This medium-speed color slide film features very fine grain and high sharpness. It is designed for exposure with tungsten illumination (3200 K). You can also expose it with daylight or electronic flash using filters. It is designed for processing in KODAK Chemicals, Process E-6.The film is well suited for indoor applications particularly interiors where there is tungsten illumination. It has an intended exposure range of 1/10, 000 to 1/10 second with no filter or exposure adjustment. Use this film to produce color transparencies (slides) for projection. You can also make duplicate transparencies by direct printing. To make color prints, you can print transparencies directly onto color reversal paper. Or make internegatives for printing onto color negative paper. You can also scan transparencies for digital printing and for Photo CD applications. ELITE Chrome 160T Film is a member of the "Select Series" of Kodak films. The Select Series offers serious snapshooters and photo enthusiasts the widest selection of high-performance films.

This is a great film balanced for use in theatre conditions. The colors acheived are more "true to life" because it is balanced to accept tungsten/holgen light as white.
Using this film is just about the only way for Theatrical Lighting Designers to get high-quality, accurate photographs of their work.
The only negative is that due to its slow ASA (only 160) it can be hard to grab the shots with no movement.

When I got back my slides, I was extremely impressed. Tungsten is really a must for indoor pics, and this is my favorite. The speed is optimal so that i get a fine grain but dont have to use a big aperture or too long of a shutter speed. It worked well in bright light and low.
