These high-capacity multipurpose CD-R storage media from Memorex record up to 700 MB of data or 80 minutes of audio. Compatible with 1x through 24x CD-R drives, each disc can achieve up to 1 million read cycles and has an archival life of up to 100 years. Since it is a standard CD recording medium (CD-R) rather than rewritable (CD-RW), a disc may be recorded on only once; it cannot be erased and used again. However, using the multisession writing method in supported software, you can add to the disc in more than one recording session until it is full.

This Memorex CD-R package contains 10 jewel-cased discs and comes with a one-year warranty.

These cd's are great for data or music. Get these only if you want the Jewel cases though since the ones without the jewel cases of the same brand are a lot cheaper.

Great buy!.......2001-03-14

I received 2 10-packs for Christmas and used them all in no time. The sound quality is great. I really can't tell the difference between these and the originals. They are large enough to fit at least 15-18 music tracks per disk, which is also great. I don't think I will use another kind of CD-R. Recommended.

Cool, reliable, and cheap!.......2002-01-03

I just received a box of these disks for Christmas. What a great surprise! I love the way these things look and so far, how they transfer media in a reliable fashion. The only downfall seems to be my laptop's DVD drive. It doesn't like these disks at all, but I doubt it has anything to do with the CD itself, it's probably just the low-powered laser causing the issue. I think I'll grab myself a spindle as soon as I use these up!

I've worked with both Memorex CDR and CDRW. I use a HP CD-Writer Plus and have burned both audio, data, and even mixed the two. I have had no problems what-so-ever. But... the Memorex CDRW media I've used worked great also. A month later I'm trying to read from the RW and ALL of them are unreadable. I've tried them in other computers and still the same results. So if you're after CDR go Memorex... CDRW keep on looking.

I use a QPS Que (that I must say is a piece of junk) and have found that when I burn audio on Memorex products they will not play in any of my CD players except the DVD in my Mac. I never had any problem with Fuji's so I'm switching back, if I can find them.

No failures at all, these work great.......2000-07-14

I see some people have had some problems, but most love these. I'm using a Sony CD-RW CRX140E drive. Maybe some old drives might have problems, but this drive has a 4MB buffer, and I think buffer size and write speed have a lot to do with it. I'm writing at 8X and have had zero problems. I highly recommend these.

To date, I have purchased four boxes of these discs. I have used 4 other brands of CDR discs and these work better and more efficiently then any of the others. I use these for music purposes as well as hard drive backup and data storage. These discs have NEVER failed and I don't think they ever will. Not only did they work for me on my Memorex CDR/CDRW but they worked for 3 of my friends and each of them used a different brand of CDR/CDRW drive. I am so pleased with these CDRs that I have already purchased another box, making my total purchases so far five boxes. I cannot stress to anyone enough how great these discs are. If you want reliable, efficient, and high performance CDR discs, these are the only ones. You will never find these kinds of superior CDR discs for a cheaper price. Buy some now!

I have not had a problem with these disks. I find that they work great, and cost a lot less then the other brands I have looked at.
