Enjoy karaoke anywhere you have access to a DVD player or game console with AudioStream's AS-34 DVD Karaoke Creator. Just connect the Karaoke Creator to the back of your DVD player, plug in the supplied microphone, insert a CD+G karaoke DVD (one is supplied) into your DVD player, and start singing, following the lyrics on your television. The box offers two microphone inputs, each with its own level control, so you can serenade with a friend, while an echo effect enhances the sound for more professional flavor.
The Karaoke Creator has a cool-looking, self-illuminated translucent body. Using the supplied GD+G karaoke DVD, you can choose either "vocal on" or "vocal off" mode from your DVD player, depending on whether you want to hear a guide vocal. If you're set up for home theater, you have to bypass any digtal-audio connections between your DVD player and your surround receiver, since the unit requires analog signals to perform its mixing with your microphone feed.
If you don't require CD+G for scrolling lyrics, you can use the Karaoke Creator to blend your microphone signal with any audio-only source.

You can add microphone inputs with volume and echo controls, to your Home Stereo, CD Player, or any other component with RCA audio connections. You can even use your home stereo or portable stereo system as a PA system!! Most karaoke discs, Top Tunes included, will play in normal CD players but the on-screen graphics will not be displayed. If you already know the lyrics to a song and you don't need the on-screen lyrics, just put the karaoke disc in your CD player and hook up the Karaoke Creator and you are ready to sing to your favorite songs.
PLEASE NOTE: The CDG lyrics/graphics will NOT be displayed on you TV when played through a CD Player. Only the music will be played.
