Video features include Theater Status, a feature that adjusts seven parameters for optimized viewing in a darkened room, Black Level Expansion for a dynamic high contrast picture and Apacon for enhanced sharpness and dynamic high contrast picture. This model has flexible and easy hookup capability to external sources including two A/V inputs (one in front), A/V Compu Link external and RF input. Make programming adjustments from the comfort of your favorite chair with an on-screen menu system that includes a Hyper Scan high speed channel changer. And you will find that the V-Chip is the ultimate parental companion, helping you stay in control of what your children are watching. An illuminated universal remote with TV/VCR button is included.

A Better Picture I Have Never Seen.......2000-11-21

My husband and I were all set to buy a Sony Trinitron but after doing some research on the net (reading customer reviews on many websites, looking at ratings on several websites specializing in electronics, comparing features/prices, etc.), we decided that THIS was by far the BEST BRAND and Model to buy.

The picture is absolutely awesome - even BETTER than the Trinitrons that we looked at in several electronics stores. The speakers are fantastic, especially since they are on opposite sides of the TV (instead of in the front) thus enhancing the stereo/surround effect (!!!). Having the PIP feature is a bonus. The Hyper Surround really gives you a nice full surround sound and the BBE doesn't exactly hurt either ;)

The picture looks great with cable, but after seeing a digital movie on it I think I'll switch to digital...hmmm...and maybe buy a DVD Player too....uh oh...I may end up with a whole home theatre if I keep this up ;)

If you are hesitating about buying it--DON'T--run (don't walk) out and get it now - it is absolutely worth it!
