The Princeton 15-inch PT-580 TFT LCD monitor is designed for business and home users of either PC or Macintosh systems (optional adapter available). It's multimedia ready, complete with a built-in microphone and attachable speakers. In addition, the PT-580 has a horizontal frequency of 30 to 60 kHz, vertical frequency of 60 to 85 Hz, and bandwidth of 85 MHz, enabling software and Internet-based multimedia applications to appear as sharp as on a cathode-ray tube (CRT) monitor and with similar reaction times.
A single-knob onscreen display (OSD) user control provides easy setting adjustment. The PT-580 also delivers fine, flicker-free image quality through a maximum resolution of 1,024 x 768, dot pitch of 0.297 millimeters, and a maximum video refresh speed of 72 Hz. The sharp image is further enhanced through a typical contrast ratio of 200:1.
The PT-580's 2-inch thin paneling and 9.5-inch base allow for a wide selection of viewing angles through both height and tilt adjustment, whereas most LCD monitors offer only tilt adjustment.
