Looking for a quality space-saving LCD monitor that won't break the bank? The DCL7B from DCL (Sceptre) is a 17-inch model with a slim, ergonomic design and a number of features that make it a smart choice for home or small business applications. With its 1,280 x 1,024 maximum resolution and 0.264 mm dot pitch, the DCL7B delivers clear, accurate graphics, while its 300 cd/m2 of brightness and 450:1 contrast ratio provide bright, rich, and easy-to-see images and text.
The monitor has 150-degree horizontal and 140-degree vertical viewing angles, while a fast, 16 ms response time ensures that motion video and graphics are accurately reproduced, without interruption. In order to enhance the multimedia experience, this model comes with built-in one-watt stereo speakers, and an optional USB hub provides additional flexibility for peripherals.
The DCL7B supports analog VGA input signals via its 15-pin D-sub port, while VESA plug-and-play compatibility makes monitor setup quick and painless. With the onscreen display menu, you can adjust a wide variety of monitor settings, and its flicker- and static-free operation and anti-glare screen coating help to reduce eye-strain and fatigue. Last but not least, the DCL7B's 14.8-by-8-inch footprint takes up remarkably little space, and wall-mount compatibility allows you to free up valuable desktop real estate for other uses. PC compatible only, the DCL7B comes backed by a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

Customer Reviews:
Excellent LCD monitor, for FreeBSD,Linuxes & Windows..!.......2005-01-14
When booting up, the monitor is recognized inmediately by the OS, without drivers to load,
because it conforms the svga standard specs incorporated in these operative systems.
The brightness and constrast are very good. Excellent Response Time.
The building materials are of good quality, its structure is very solid,
finished very well and its appearance is really nice and professional.
Although the power LED is excessively bright that distracts the view,
but it is easy to solve with a aluminum paper tape on the LED
The speakers sounds sufficient for personal use, the acoustics is a little low,
but tolerable..
No dead pixels, cool OSD interface, thin, light and good performance
because its good cost - profit relationship, it is a winner
I recommend it. Excellent purchase.
