The FlexScan L771 is the first flat panel display to offer the screen size and high resolution capability while giving users precise control over color parameters. Not only is this product ideal for traditional LCD monitor domains such as dealing rooms and stock bourses, but its features and overall performance give DTP and CAD professionals a long awaited flat panel alternative.Detailed control over color settings is now possible on an LCD monitor with the FlexScan L771's ColorManagement. This function lets the user freely adjust hue, gain, saturation, and color temperature in 500K increments from 4,000K - 10,000K. In addition to a normal mode display, the FlexScan L771 can scale resolutions less than the 1600 x 1200 maximum to enlarged or full screen modes. An improved smoothing function included with the FlexScan L771 refines horizontal lines and letter width of scaled resolutions to a degree of precision previously unattainable. The monitor L771 includes a USB hub for the Plug and Play of USB compliant peripherals. Placement of the hub on the LCD panel assures continued use of the peripherals when the display is mounted on an arm or a wall. When the off timer function or EIZO's own PowerManager is activated, consumption falls to less than 3 watts for further energy savings.
