A widescreen 22.1-inch TFT LCD from LG Electronics, the 295LM is a sleek monitor that comes with a number of useful features. A maximum resolution of 1,600 x 1,024 and 0.294 mm dot pitch combine with a 300:1 contrast ratio, 180 nits of brightness, and 16.7 million colors to provide detailed images suitable for a wide variety of home and office uses.
The monitor accepts both RGB analog (0.7 Vpp) and DVI-D input signals, connecting via the 15-pin D-sub, DVI-D 24-pin, or S-Video port. Stereo 2W per channel (maximum) audio speakers are provided, while a powered, one-upstream, two-downstream USB hub provides an easy way to connect peripherals.
The 295LM has both horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 140 degrees, while the hard coating (3H), anti-glare, anti-static screen treatment helps cut back on harmful reflections and the resulting eyestrain. With a modest 17.2-by-8.1-inch footprint, the 295LM fits easily onto any convenient surface and is also wall mountable, freeing up desktop space completely; it weighs just 11 pounds. With the sensor touch front panel controls and digital onscreen controls, you can also easily adjust a wide variety of monitor settings, including brightness, contrast, H/V position, H/V size, color temperature, and volume.

It works up to 1600x1200x83Hz in analogue mode and has picture in a picture which is very nice as tv out from your gfx board.
In digital you have max 1600x1024x60Hz, but all other resolutions look good as well, thanks to the good stretching and interpolation.
The only negative point is pixel refresh rate could have been a bit better (on very fast action you get some jagging), but I've not seen this any better on other LCD monitors either.
