I bought this monitor three months ago. It blew out on me while I was working on somthing very important. I could not find the manufacturer's number, so I called information and this is the number they gave me:

The manufacturer number for this product is 877-243-0990. They will not talk with you; they will hang up on you. They don't want anyone calling to complain. You will not get your money back. The warranty is no good. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Dead monitor after 6 month.......2005-06-30

I bought this monitor in December, 2004. Initially it works fine. But I noticed that the power can not be turned on sometimes. I tried several times, and it worked. Then about one month later, the monitor would never work again. There is no contact information on the product box neither on manual, I contacted the amazon and got a support phone number.

great for the price.......2005-06-12

I purchased one of these for a gift and also received one...So far I have had no problems and have been using it for about 6 months now. I do admit that the packaging is fairly generic, but for the price I think it's worth it. It especially has opened up a lot more space on my desktop than I had before - which was a major problem as I could not even fit my key board on the desktop before. I especially like that the monitor has speakers - no, they are not state of the art, but I don't have to hook up a bulky speaker unit just to hear special effects or movie trailers, music, etc... on my computer.

Yes, a good clear monitor for the money, if it works. My one failed after four months of use and since there is no warrantee on this item my money is lost. I now have an expensice door stop.

Good monitor for the price.......2005-02-18

I bought this monitor about 3 months ago because of a mail-in rebate that knocked the price below $200. Image quality is good, colors are vibrant, and visibility is excellent from all angles. I've also reclaimed significant amounts of deskspace from my previous 19" CRT.

My only complaints:
-Dead pixels: I have two that won't turn off (i.e. go black). One stops at red while the other stops at blue. They're only visible when viewing black colors. I seldom do that so I don't notice them.
-Flickering: I've never owned a flat panel before, but when I turn this one on, the image flickers (kind of like when you degauss a CRT) for a few seconds. It goes away though after (I assume) the LCD monitor is "warmed up".
-Chintzy presentation: It's a a given that this LCD was made in Asia, but the packaging is pretty awful. Much of the documentation (manual, registration card, etc) is in Chinese. The LCD itself has no company logo or name on it. Granted these are small things, but they make a difference in the final presentation.

Overall, it was a good deal for the price. I'd recommend it.
