The L350 utilizes a color TFT panel with a recommended resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 at a refresh rate of 75 Hz and a pixel pitch of 0.297 mm for precise text and image reproduction. D-cubed - EIZO's own ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) - gives the L350 such advantages as high brightness and interpolation control, full color capability through a frame rate control (FRC) circuit, and the ability to scale resolutions less than the panel's capacity to a full screen mode. The L350 incorporates a smoothing function to correct focus and smearing of the displayed image, which may result in the scaling process. The smoothing function includes adjustments in five gradations from soft to sharp in order to lessen focus problems for text applications and jagged edges for graphics applications.
