A high performance 'auto-setup' function automatically adjusts the screen image making installation of the HP L1800 LCD fast and easy. Once installed, the combination of a wide viewing angle, an excellent contrast ratio and brightness delivers spectacular image quality. Additionally, for images of lower resolution than recommended, the scaling function automatically displays them as sharp, full screen images. The OSD (On-Screen Display) also brings maximum comfort to the user as its detailed and intuitive functioning enables the adjustment of all controls with surprising simplicity. For guaranteed uninterrupted use, two PCs can be connected to the HP L1800 LCD simultaneously. Either the user can define which source the monitor uses, or with the push of the button, the monitor will choose the right video input. The HP L1800 LCD has a built-in 'sleep-mode' that the user can set as desired, therefore reducing energy consumption and optimizing the life of the backlights. If the user prefers to mount their monitor onto a wall or an articulated arm, the HP L1800 LCD can be ordered without its stand and will then be shipped with an easy-to-use adapted mounting accessory. A USB port integrated into the monitor stand enables the connection of up to four compatible peripheral devices for great expandability as well as multimedia options.
