Running lots of things through it all the time: 2 firewire drives, iSight, iPod. Not a glitch. Has worked transparently just like you'd hope for. Used up all ports, so about to buy a 2d one to have a place to hook up the camcorder and M-Audio interface. Running OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

Unreliable.......2005-04-13

Product worked as advertised on my G4 1.2GHZ desktop for about 2-1/2 months. Then it died. Replacement (RMA was handled promptly by a helpful Customer Service Dept at Belkin) arrived DOA. Try another product!

Ergonomic Design, But Not Sturdy.......2003-04-09

Awesome design and looks, however it has trouble standing up. Double Sided tape won't even make it stand up.

Looks good, poor function.......2004-12-09

The nice shape comes at the expense of good design. The vertical stand isn't up to holding the weight of installed cables and it easily pops out of place. The cosmetic shield gets in the way of seeing your cables and the curved connector surface makes access to cables fussy.

I'm finding the unit I've been using for many months to be unreliable with hard drives and other fast devices. These work fine when connected directly to a 1304 port. I'm looking for a replacement.
