Solid unit, but check your cables before buying.......2007-06-18

This is an excellent unit with all connections on the back which helps with cable management. It also has low-volume audio feedback for the hot-keys which is better than my prior KVMs.

However, I was surprised to find it has four male video connectors for the controlled computers. My previous two KVMs had female connectors and worked well with my cables. After spending an extra $15 for 4 video gender changers, everything worked out fine.

a reliable unit.......2007-05-26

I have many computers but only enough room for 1 monitor. I use this thing because it has 4 buttons - 1 for each computer - and I can manually select the computer. I can also
quickly press the "Scroll Lock" button two times and then the up arrow or down arrow key and it will move to the next computer. It takes about 1 second to flip through computers. It gets it's power from you computer's PS/2 ports but I suggest you get the optional dedicated power supply.

All in all a very fine unit and you will not notice any degradation in video quality.
