Great gig switch for the price.......2007-04-18

Purchased this in Feb, since I was looking for a 1 gig switch with more than 5 ports for under $60. This met my needs and had great reviews. The switch is fantastic and built very well, it's made from metal, not like a lot of the cheaper 1 gig switches that are made out of plastic. Very happy with the purchase.

Excellent in mixed 1000/100 Mb network.......2007-02-11

I have a mixed network, the 100Mb speed is excellent. I only have one Gigabit node so I can't tell you about that performance. It's absolutely quiet since it's fanless and the size is right.

Worthy for small office.......2004-10-20

I used 8 of these switches to build a small office network of 50 computers. they have so far ben amazing after 3 months of use. for the price I coundn't even see another reason to use a diffrent switch. Out of our 50 machines about 20 are Gigabit G5 and G4 machines and the file transfers are fast!

Running smooth.......2004-09-15

I've had this switch now for almost 5 months and have no complaints. The worst thing that comes to mind is that it's mildly warm to touch (about body temp), but it does sit under my desk with little to no air flow.

I was unsure about Trendware International and about their products since I didn't (and still don't) know anyone that owned any of their products. I searched the web and ended up finding positive reviews of this switch.

For the price and the capabilities of this switch (8-port unmanaged switch, auto 10/100/1000 sensing, auto straight/crossover sensing) and the positive reviews seemed like a worthy gamble. So far it's been worth the risk.
