You can now enable your Ethernet devices to be accessed via your Home Phoneline Network, or configure TH102-A to share your Broadband Internet access with multiple HPNA-ready home PCs. And more, Compex TH102-A has been designed with advanced features, such as Time-based Access Control, IP Packet Filtering and Virtual Server, to provide flexibility to the users.Compex TH102-A can be connected between your Home Phoneline and Ethernet networks, functioning as a Bridge between two networks. Ethernet resources can thus be shared with the Home Phoneline clients as if they are in the same network.Compex TH102-A HPNA-to-Ethernet Gateway is designed with a RJ45 Ethernet port. While operating in Router mode, it supports external Cable/ADSL modem or direct Ethernet connection. With a 10Mbps dual-port RJ11 HPNA interface, TH102-A shares a single Broadband Internet account with multiple users via the Home Phoneline Network.Compex TH102-A operating in Router Mode supports IP Packet Filtering that allows user-definable access rules to be applied to the PCs connected on the Home Phoneline Network, based on Time, Source IP and TCP Port. For example, if the parents wish to restrict the Internet usage for their children, time-based access control may be applied to their PCs, permitting access to the Internet only during a specific period of time.
