LANrepeater/r repeaters are rackmountable and feature 2, 4, 6 or 8 slots for installing PIMs in any combination. LANrepeater/4x and LANrepeater/8x feature the capability to be configured with multiple collision domains in a single chassis eliminating the need for multiple repeaters. Configuring repeaters with multiple collision domains can increase the available bandwidth and improve network performance.
