By adding a Paradyne 1813 VoIP Ethernet Gateway to a customer location, you enable VoIP and data services without having to change existing equipment. The 1813 implements VoIP standard protocols like SIP, MGCP and H.323, achieving out-of-the-box interoperability with the industry leading softswitches, gateways, routers and switches. Simply by plugging an ordinary telephone into the RJ11 port on the back of this device opens the customer to a whole new world of voice services, at a fraction of the price of traditional PSTN.
