FrameSaver FLEX is a highly advanced frame relay diagnostic system representing the next generation of customer CPE capable of activating tiered layers of management intelligence on demand. Flex's innovative "all-in-one" solution is designed to fit a customer's current requirements and provide support for future network growth and migration demands. FLEX is designed to help network service providers (NSPs) manage frame relay life-cycle costs while providing the highest levels of service possible for their subscribers. FrameSaver FLEX provides a Transparent Leased Line installation feature that allows field personnel to use standard, well established procedures for straightforward, error-free installation without requiring configuration of any frame relay parameters. FLEX is easily configured for Leased Line operation as a standard SNMP DSU/CSU, or as a Frame Relay DSU/CSU offering command activated migration from Leased Line into Frame mode and a choice of Frame Relay intelligence levels. FrameSaver FLEX supports migration from basic frame service to a premium-managed service without a forklift upgrade. A simple command from the NOC activates the "SLV Key" adding full Service Level Management features with SLA reporting. FrameSaver FLEX can be managed via Telnet or OpenLane - Paradyne's powerful, Web-based element management system.
