The adapter worked great on XP.
I just upgraded to Vista. When the adapter stopped working, I called and found out from Linksys that it won't work with Vista, and there won't be any firmware written.

This item is one in a long line of wireless cards from Linksys. It comes with good documentation and software, is easy to install and works right away. I bought it to be able to use WPA-PSK and it can handle that up to 63 characters. I am using it with an IBM T-23 laptop, and it works just like advertised.
