Its attached radio module and antenna provide transparent wireless data communications with other wireless LAN devices or a wired network infrastructure. The PRO/Wireless 2011B LAN PCI Adapter is compliant with the PCI bus specification version 2.1 and can be used in PCI 2.1 or 2.2 environments. It consists of an Intel PCI bus card fitted with an Intel wireless LAN Mini-PCI card radio module and an external antenna, and it installs into an available PCI slot in a desktop computer.
