This Start-up Kit combines the AirStation 4 Port router model (WLAR-L11G-L) and the Flat Wireless PCMCIA Card (WLI-PCM-L11GP). Use the AirStation with a CATV/DSL modem or an existing wired LAN and the PCMCIA Card with a Laptop PC or use with a desktop PC with a PCI adapter (WLI-PCI-OP) or ISA Adapter (WLI-ISA-OP), which are sold separately. Multiple users can share the wired and wireless network. The AirStation is equipped with a powerful IP port address filtering function for firewall protection. The Flat PCMCIA card has a Security Locking feature allowing user to attach a chain or cable to prevent theft.
