Good Product..........2007-07-03

This is a good wireless router... someone said the WEP didn't work on it but it works well, maybe he just got a defective one. The only bad thing about it i'd say is that well... doesn't have an on/off switch and i dunno how to turn it off besides unplugging it because it does get kind of hot after long time use but other than that.. great product buy it!

Missing critical security features.......2005-01-03

Router is missing WPA. You cannot hide your SSID. And you can not limit access by MAC address. Otherwise, it works well.

used to be a good product till firmware upgrade- bad support.......2004-12-25

Have used this for the last 2 years and never had any issues. Recently, I decided to upgrade the firmware on this router.
Do not upgrade to V1.1 Release 10 for 2624 on their support website if you want your VPN to work. I know it is the router firmware because it used to work right before the upgrade.

Their support charges $45 to open an incident so I am trying to find a previous release of the firmware so that I can get my VPN connection to work again !!!

Proven piece of junk.......2004-12-17

I bought two of these as I needed to set up wireless networks in two places; ended up using only one. It worked - more or less - for several months, then died. I pulled another one from the storage, it worked 2 months and died. Wireless range not very good but acceptable; however, oftentimes it lost wireless connectivity, and I had to cycle it.

Never stable...drops connections continuously, from the time i set it up. I have 6 other routers, which all work fine...this router simply doesn't. Also notices issues with the amount of heat it gives off. Lack of any kind of firmware support is also an issue. Other forums online confirm that these are all common problems with this product. Office Depot confirmed it and replaced mine with a D-Link.

Tech support was completely clueless, as many others have reported. They gave me the distinct impression that they had no training whatsoever, and were just reading the manual back to me from a screen.
