The Lightlid Transparency adapter works with the Microtek ScanMaker V-Series scanners. The adapter effectively doubles the power of your Microtek color flatbed scanner. Without an adapter flatbed scanners can scan only reflective materials like photos or prints. With the adapter however, the scanner is able to scan transparent materials like slides and filmstrips as well.
