Album Description

A beautiful, dance inspiring international debut. The first track sounds like a spaghetti western chase scene. Two songs later they stretch into feel-good territory with David Byrne making a guest vocal appearance, singing an English version of the Brazilian classic "Asa Branca". Cibo Matto's Miho Hatori joins the band to sing "Paraiba", a Japanese version of a Luis Gonzaga song originally recorded in the '50s. And on the album's sublime climax, Bebel Gilberto joins the group to sing a version of "Wandering Swallow", a song originally released by Peggy Lee.

5 out of 5 stars Love.......2007-03-16

I have been searching for a new band. By new I mean amazing, not known by the entire world (yet; and I stress yet), basically a band I can adore. I believe I have found this in Forro in the Dark. I hope they start touring soon so I can rock out to their amazing sounds.

Peace,

Debra

4 out of 5 stars Afro Brazilian Zydeco party.......2007-03-06

David Byrne wrote an article in the New York Times a few years ago which he titled "Why I hate World Music". The gist of the article, as I recall, was that "World Music" is just hopelessly inadequate to describe all the different genres that are lumped in with the term.

Not long ago, he described this album as a Brazilian Zydeco of sorts. But "Brazilian Zydeco" is woefully inadequate to describe the genre, if there is a genre, that this album fits into. To be sure, there are some zydeco references (or are there Forro references in Zydeco?), and maybe it goes without saying that the record has mostly an Afro Brazilian feel. I'm sure my own category as described in the caption of this review is inadequate too.

At any rate, one of the many cool things about Brazilian music is how big name musicians will play on each others' records, record each others' songs, and show up unexpectedly and play live with one another. There's some of that going on here, with giants like Bebel Gilberto helping out, not to mention Mr. Byrne his own big bad self. With his inimitable voice, he gives the Brazilian standard "Asa Branca" a brand new feel, sung in English.

As to the leader of the band, Mauro Refosco has played just about every percussion instrument known to man, and probably a few more, over the years. For Byrne fans, Mauro is the bug eyed guy with the big grin on his face you've seen on stage on Byrne's last few tours, beating the living crap out of everything in sight. Smokey Hormel, of Beck fame, handles the bass and some guitars on Forro in the Dark.

All in all, a great party record. I suspect its intoxicating sounds will be emanating near backyard swimming pools and beach bars from Atlanta to Ipanema to Marbella beginning this summer and for years to come.

5 out of 5 stars A Must For Your Collection.......2006-12-25

If you are not familiar with the Forro style of music, this is a great introduction and is very accessible. There are several instrumental songs that create interesting movie-like effects and moods ranging from fast-paced chase scenes to mysterious investigations. The songs with vocals are performed by the band members themselves as well as a number of guest performers singing in several languages. Notably, David Byrne sings two songs (in English), including the title track. There is no language barrier to worry about - the songs and the vocalists convey the humour, melancholy, and overall spirit of each song beautifully. For something a little different than what you may usually listen to, for the excellent musicianship, and for the unique mix of songs and styles, I highly recommend this CD.

5 out of 5 stars Forro wonder in Nublu.......2006-12-09

This is a very colorful album. There are melodies that you can whistle to, playful harmonies and all feels unbounded and flexible especially in their live performance Nublu bar, wednesday nights. They have great musicians joining them and you can never guess who'll be there. It really worths checking it out.

5 out of 5 stars Scintillating pianism.......2007-05-30

I am quite familiar with both of these concertos, and was taken for quite a ride listening to this disc for the first time. Sudbin focuses on detail in both pieces in such a way that they sound almost new. The comparisons I have come up with may or may not help. They are like a skilled chef slicing and presenting a roast in a way that immeasurably adds to the dining experience, or perhaps a diamond cutter presenting you will a dazzling gem. While he is capable of the most virtuosic abilities, Sudbin is a musician who suits his tempi, color, and dynamics to that section of the piece in front of him. While this may sound like a recipe for excessive rubato, or even for fragmentation of the music, it is done in such a refined and musical way that it convincing and unique.

I could never conceive of using these performances as background music. I listened intently, and was drained by the experience.

5 out of 5 stars Sudbin, Neschling, Sao PauloSO: Good Tchaikovsky, Better Medtner: Recommended.......2007-04-09

This super audio disc can be highly recommended on three grounds. One for the sound, and one each for each of the two composers. First off the sound and technical production of the recorded performance are quite up to the high standards this label sets for itself. Multi-channel play is subtle but surrounds the listener in an encompassing and embracing manner. This sound most likely recreates the acoustic of the venue, presumably, and that venue would be the Sala Sao Paulo, Brazil. It sounds to be a medium sized hall with good frequency balances and a good balance between resonance and reflections which localize.

The Tchaikovsky performance emphasizes the piano concerto's musical claims. Though Sudbin and the band led by John Neschling (a film composer, including Pixote) are completely up to the technical and virtuoso demands of the music, sheer flash is never the point. At first hearing that approach may strike a listener as too low key, but I suspect that repeated hearings will wear well over the long run.

Nevertheless, the recorded competition in the Tchaikovsky first piano concerto is stiff. Even restricted to super audio, we have the likes of the famously famous Van Cliburn debut (remastered), Arkady Volodos out-Horowitzing Vladimir, Olga Kern on HM USA (rather dim and diffuse sound for SACD), Nikolai Lugansky on Pentatone (hampered a bit in Romantic effusiveness by Kent Nagano's strict competence), Scherbakov burning with heart and fire on Naxos, and that current high representative of worldwide piano flash, Lang Lang. Of this super audio group, surely the Cliburn and the Volodos and the Scherbakov will hold their own as time marches on.

If we widen our comparisons to include red book CD, then the field gets very crowded - including my own favs, Lazar Berman, Andrei Gavrilov, Nelson Freire, Gary Graffman, Peter Donohoe, Sviatoslav Richter, Martha Argerich , Emil Gilels, and Earl Wild under Fistoulari on Chesky.

Then the new disc moves on to give us the Medtner Piano Concerto 1, and the comparisons immediately shift. The amazing Scherbakov reappears in this group also. And we add in, Geoffrey Tozer, and Geoffrey Douglas Madge. One wonders why Barry Douglas is missing, or John Lill, from the recorded catalogue of these concertos. But the explanation is probably all about the reputation Medtner has for being hard to like on first hearings, although this same reputation admits that Medtner grows on people, both players and listeners with increased exposure.

I like Medtner, and so for me, this new recording of the first piano concerto is very welcome. I am a Scherbakov fan, too, but Sudbin and Neschling and Sao Paulo more than hold their own. In fact, I think this Medtner first piano concerto is a better reason to buy the disc than is the Tchaikovsky per se, just because we have so many other fine choices in that field. Not only does Medtner deserve the exposure, but given the sort of expert and loving attention Sudbin and associates give the composer in this recording, we could expect for his music to come even more out of the repertoire's margins. In addition to long and luscious Russian melodies, Medtner offers a modernized feel for evolving harmonies - rather like, but still different from, say, Nielsen - and a ability to juggle and mesh textures which like Reger try to bring polyphony back into the Late Romantic gesture. If fine performances like Sudbin's cannot aid the cause, then surely Medtner's cause is still lost. But this recording offers hope, just because it shows the composer is such a good light.

Tchaikovsky recommended, then, and Medtner highly recommended. Five stars. Hope this team gets around to the other two Medtner concertos, if not also the Tchaikovsky second. Kudos to the production team and the engineering team at BIS.

Thunderstorm. Experience the rapture of nature's own symphony, the celestial sounds of the thunderstorm. The night sky lights up, the rain begins to fall, and you slowly drift into a sense of peace, sell-bing and total relaxation.

With her haunting singing style--a zesty Luso-African mélange of Bessie Smith and Billie Holliday--the Cape Verdean singer Cesaria Evora put the moving and melancholy musical genre called morna on the map with her critically acclaimed recordings Miss Perfumado and Cafe Atlantico. São Vicente is named for Evora's island homeland and is augmented with percussion, rhythm section, strings, and horns. Evora's songs of love and longing range from the classy midtempo strains of "São Vicente Di Longe" and the carnival dances of "Nutridinha" to the beautiful piano/vocal duet "Negue" with Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés. She also swings the Cuban danzon/cha cha cha on "Lindo Mimosa" with the celebrated Cuban group Orquesta Aragon. The singer rocks with R&B handclaps on "Hommen Na Meio Di' Homen" and testifies on the gospel-influenced "Bondade e Maldade." Her duets with Brazilian Caetano Veloso on "Tiempo y Silencio" and "Regresso," and with American legend Bonnie Raitt, add more flavors to this tasty musical dish. --Eugene Holley Jr.

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful.......2006-02-28

I saw Cesaria at the concert last year and I am also going to see her live this year. It was a really wonderful experience to hear her live. Such a unique and lovely voice.
"Sao Vicente" (or "Sao Vicente Di Longe" is called European version)is my favorite Cesaria album. Beautiful melodies which reminds of tropical islands in the summer... an album for relaxation. A masterpiece! Favorite songs on the album:
1. Sao Vicente Di Longe - my favorite song on the album. Amazing melody!! This really is a song which will take you to another place... sunny place near the ocean...
2. Dor Di Amor - Wow! I really like this song. What a rythm... All kinds of instruments are represented here. Very very good song.
3. Nutridinha - This one was a single... Very catchy and very tropical song... Great rythm.
4. Tiempo Y Silencio - Very nice ballad. Duet with Pedro Guerra. Really nice melody.
5. Bondade E Maldade - Great and very catchy.
Esperancia Irisada, Sabor De Pecado, Ponta De Fi, Pic Nic Na Salamansa, Regresso - these are also great song on the album. Really beautiful.
Great voice and great songs which can really take you to another place... somewhere far far away where sun is shining all the time...

5 out of 5 stars Sao Vicente.......2005-11-11

Yes. Yes! There is an amazing effortlessness in the music, that transports you to some tranquil sad, happy, carefree state. The Cape Verdean Cesaria Evora once again delivers a rich blend of nostalgic African rhythms. These songs evoke a longing, a longing for a love, a longing for home, a longing for an unknown feeling.

5 out of 5 stars Just Perfect Evora and Crew .......2005-01-13

This is an exceptional CD. It's rare that I listen to an entire CD and feel delight at every track. I don't much like Bonnie Raitt, and I like even her duet with Evora on this CD.

The feeling is of warmth, of the tropics; the rhythms are those typical of the trans-Atlantic Portugese musical world, from Portugal, to Cape Verde, to Brazil.

The music is unfailingly sweet and soothing; it caresses you. It is likable music. I think I'd feel comfortable giving this CD as a gift to a friend whose tastes I'm not quite sure of. But "Sao Vicente" is never shallow or cloying; this deceptively quiet music is passionate, intense, and true.

The virtuosity of every aspect of the CD is satisfying. Cesaria Evora is, of course, every bit the powerful pro, and every other performer on the CD is in her class.

There's only one thing I don't like about this CD ... it eventually ends. I could listen to its music for many hours more.

5 out of 5 stars Off the charts!.......2004-08-08

Oh how I love Cesaria! As always when I visit Barnes & Nobles I go to the International music section. As my eyes scanned the wide selection of world music, Cesaria's face stood out. This woman reminds of Celia Cruz -love her too, may her soul rest in peace -I said to myself and I bet she's a wonderful singer. All I needed to hear was the song "Sodade" and that was it. I fell in love with Cesaria's music. Like Celia Cruz she has the voice that captures your attention and sends chills down your spine - so electrifying it's beautiful! I currently one three of Cesaria's albums - THe Very Best of, Cabo Verde, and Voz D'Amor! THe next albums I want to get are Sao Vincente di Longe and Cesaria!
For the past few months I've been listening to Cesaria's music more than anyone elses! I can relate so much to the lyrics of her music and the style being that I'm from the Caribbean. I feel as if I've also lived the Capeverdian experience! I would like to visit someday! Viva Cesaria a reina da morna!

Amazon.com's Best of 2000

Yugoslavian-born producer Suba moved to São Paulo, Brazil, in the late 1980s, bringing with him experience in jazz, classical music, theater, ballet, and film. São Paulo Confessions brings the 18-million-strong city to musical life with an ambitious and unique fusion of classic Brazilian styles and modern electronics. The result is a magical blend of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, dreamy vocals, and forward-looking techno. --Marc Greilsamer

Amazon.com

First heard on the Brasil 2Mil compilation, the late Suba was part of a new generation of South American musicians (although he was originally from Central Europe) who married airy melodies and percussion with the electronic scene. His music worked especially well because he was a trained musician, and he contributed not only programming but also keyboards to this record. Aided by various vocalists and percussionists, he created grooves that were a million miles from Latin dance but spoke both to Brazilians and club goers. There was a lushness to his sound that captivated, and when the percussion exploded, it came on like fireworks, not a firestorm. This is the sound of one of the world's biggest cities, where darkness can lurk even under the blue skies. It's a shame there'll be no more music from Suba. --Chris Nickson

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Solid.......2007-05-08

This is one of the best CDs of Brazilian music that I've heard. The music world truly lost a musical genius with Suba's untimely death. RIP.

5 out of 5 stars A magical album.......2006-11-29

It's been quite a few years since Suba passed away and Sao Paolo Confessions was released. Since then a lot of artists have followed in its ground-breaking musical path. A lot of Brazilian - electro compilations have been released; i know because i've listened to most of them, and i can assure you that anyone has yet to make an album remotely as good as Sao Paolo Confessions.
It takes a lot more than some Brazilian percussion tracks, a female vocalist and some keyboards to do what Suba did on this album, it takes passion and something that most current artists doing Brazilian-electro music lack: The huge Songwriting talent Suba had.
Very few artists are in the same song-writing skills class as Suba: Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation..
We can only speculate where would Suba be if he was still alive...
Was Suba a musical genius? was this album a lucky musical accident or just a sign of things to come?
We will never know.
All we can do is to sit down and marvel at the magical music on this CD.

5 out of 5 stars Electronic Masterpiece.......2006-08-21

After listening to the songs of this album for 100's of times, I finally felt I should write a review of Suba's masterpiece. It's hard to imagine a person could make such a difference in the international music scene in such a short time. His production work and composition talent make all the albums he has been a part of sound brilliant. Suba truly had foresight and great aspirations for the Brazilian music world as well as all the electronic music world.
Now the review. The first time I listened to this album I was not entirely sold on it. It was a little weird and didn't settle right with me. So, I listened to it again and found 1 or 2 songs that I liked. This process kept repeating and soon I found myself mesmerized by everything going on in the songs. He fused so many different types of music together and it blended seamlessly. It was hypnotic. After more than a year I still feel the same way about it. It is almost like a musical history looking into the future but also looking back. There are not many words to describe the experience of this album. I cannot thank Suba and those around him enough for the music they have made. I highly recommend this album for it has changed the way I look at music. Even 5 years after its original release I can hear his influence in others music.

3 out of 5 stars In the concrete jungle of Sao Paulo.......2006-06-22

Maybe the musical capital of Brazil isn't Rio de Janeiro or Ipanema, but Sao Paulo. It's the hometown of Ana Rita Simonka ("Bossa Nova Delhi")&Chico Cesar ("Chico Cesar"),innovators in the Brazilian music scene. It was also home to the late, great Suba.

Bebel Gilberto's "Tanto Tempo" had Suba's brilliant techno touches;in her latest self-titled CD,his magic touch is missing.It's a different album.Not bad,just different.

Suba's "Sao Paulo Confessions" is hardly techno music for beginners. It's great Brazilian trip-hop,from a Yugoslav emigre to the Land of Samba.

Highlights-
1)Tantos Desejos-This was used in CBS' awful new drama "The Unit." Luckily,it's a fun piece.
2)Voce Gosta-The singer seductively knows what you like!
3)Antropofagos-A strange tune about cannibals. Why wasn't this used in "Sin City" as Kevin's theme?(I didn't see the movie, but soundtracks need to be different)
4)Um dia comum (em SP)-Interesting use of a public service announcement in this tune.A typical day in Sao Paulo.Hear for yourself.
5)Sereia-A seductive ode to a mermaid.
6)Samba do gringo Paulista-This uses samba school samples.
7)A noite sem fim-Uses acoustic guitar.

Had Suba lived, who knows what he could've accomplished? This album shows his too early vanquished potential. It's a tragedy he wasn't able to develop his talents.

5 out of 5 stars More "Trip-Hop" (Brazilian Style) Than Anything Else . . ........2006-05-29

. . . which isn't a problem for me as I love trip-hop. Trip-hop is trippy, sensuous, seductive - all words that describe this music. The main difference here is that Latin beats are used instead of hip-hop ones. I was actually looking for something more along the lines of "Latin-jazz electronica," and there are certainly elements of that to be found here, although that's not really the emphasis of this album. There isn't anything here that sounds like jazz improvisation and there is plenty of repetition (which is, of course, characteristic of nearly all kinds of music) although the songs are continually evolving.

Some songs are more upbeat with a greater emphasis on Brazilian percussion, as on "Samba Do Gringo Paulista." Cibelle lends her gorgeous voice to three of the tracks here, two of which ("Tantos Desejos" and "Felicidade") incorporate more old-school style bossa-nova sounds while the third ("Sereia") sounds like deep Brazilian trip-hop to me. The last three tracks are probably the trippiest. There are some other sexy guest singers and some great guest musicians along for the ride as well.

I think some people would benefit from learning to accept this album for what it is instead of deriding it for not meeting their preconceived expectations. Regardless of how you label it, SAO PAULO CONFESSIONS is fantastic; it relaxes me, mesmerizes me, and puts me in a really good mood.

Suba - rest in peace.

To get a sense of just how authentic a listening experience you're in for when spinning Jasmine Flower, flip through the liner notes first. Four pages in you'll find nothing but characters, and the second half is so pocked with bungled possessives and punctuation you wonder whether it was penned by the menu writer at your favorite hole-in-the-wall kung pao place. Sung in dialects from a jigsaw of Chinese regions, Flower dazzles with nectar-sweet harmonies, exotic instrumentation, and a spirit of innocence that transcends cultures and languages. China-specific sounds like the moon guitar and long lute slant the vibe in a spiritual direction, but each sentiment unfolds easily to willing Western ears. "The Anthem of Parents," from the Hunan Province, harnesses a distinct vocal reverie in describing the love that parents feel for their children; the Tibetan "My Beautiful Homeland--Xigaze" speaks, through gentle woodwinds and an exacting, chanted refrain, of a heavenly paradise with fragrant wine and flowers; and the Cantonese "A Rainy Day," drizzled in the sounds of nature and a mood of solemnity, illustrates the universal bummer of being at Mother Nature's mercy. Though the Beijing Angelic is strictly a kids' choir, Jasmine Flower exudes a Zen-style agelessness that anybody who's patted a Buddha's belly will warm to, tranquility-seeking New Age types especially. Educational applications are an option should Asian studies be in bloom at your household, but so is sitting back to simply to listen to the choir's gentle artistry. As the title track suggests, the jasmine's fragrance permeates everywhere, and everybody loves its white, lovely flowers. --Tammy La Gorce

We bought this album for my niece. She is just two and a half but she likes music.

Album Description

Germany's Helloween are undeniably one of the most influential heavy metal bands to emerge from Europe during the 1980s. By taking the harmonies and structure of classic bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and infusing them with the urgency and energy of the growing thrash metal movement, Helloween created something unique and truly embody the essence of 'power metal'. The band remains a strong force today, as proven on this new double CD, Keeper Of The Seven Keys: The Legacy World Tour 2005-2006 Live on 3 Continents. Captured live in Sao Paulo, March 25th, 2006 during their latest global trek, this release is a must for any fan of fantastic Heavy Metal.

5 out of 5 stars great live album by a great band.......2007-04-04

This album sounds great, the song "the king for a 1000 years" its amazing live(yeah 13 minutes with 17 seconds) the track list is magnificent and no question why did they choose brazil, brazilian audience has a lot of energy, they make you feel there all through the album...good job helloween!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent performance by an excellent band.......2007-03-01

Helloween has allways been a great melodic metal band; 1 year ago they released the "Keeper Legacy" album, in my opinion one of their best (if not their very best). This Live album couldn't come out in a better time; For those who like this band, you dont have to think about getting it. The performance was great, the sound quality simply terrific and the track selection almost perfect (excpet for some songs that you really come to miss). I had the chance to see one of the shows of this tour in Europe, and when I heard this for the first time, I almost thought that the guys were playing in front of me again. And dont miss the tracks of the past "Keeper" album performed by Andy Deris and with the sound quality of these days. A great experience for a metal fan. I seriously doubt that you can go wrong with this.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing live album!!!.......2007-02-27

One of the best Live metal albums ever. Helloween are amazing, great set list, amazing sound, great vox a perfect concert!!! The energy from the crowd that this band draws is also unparalled.

5 out of 5 stars Happy Happy Helloween oh oh oh oh.......2007-02-22

This album shows just how powerful Helloween sounds when they play live specially in front of an amazing crowd like Sao Paulo. If you close your eyes and listen to this record you can feel being part of the audience. One thing I dont like so much about this record, is that some songs are over 10 minutes , when they could easily could have chosen to play some shorter songs, but they decided to play mostly songs from the Keeper of the Keys albums. Best treat....I Want Out...just listen to the crowd!

Bidú Sayão's silvery, impeccably tuned voice was small in size, but rich in nuance, shading, and emotion. Her recording of the Villa-Lobos Bachiana Brasileira No. 5 is justly famous, unmatched for lightness and sensuality. Few have dashed off the Jewel Song from Faust with similar insouciance or imbued the last phrases of Manon's "Adieu , notre petite table" as touchingly as Sayão does here. Her French song interpretations glow with charm and style, and a previously unreleased snippet from Ravel's L'enfant et les sotilèges makes one regret she never recorded the entire role, Sony's transfers are more lifelike and three dimensional than previous issues. A delectable disc. --Jed Distler

5 out of 5 stars mesmerising.......2007-05-10

I first heard her voice on a Met compilation and became intrigued enough to buy this CD.
I love her voice...its so simple, unfussy and pure and yet so very unique. you know its her from the first few notes on.
I love her Manon, probably more so than Sills or Fleming. Her voice reminds me of De Los Angeles, but is different.
I'm glad I was introduced to this great, stylish and classy singer.

5 out of 5 stars great stuff.......2007-01-24

I don't consider myself much more than a novice when it comes to opera; but I'm a musician, and I'd like to think I know good music when I hear it.

This is good music!

I've only recently become aquainted with Bidu Sayao, but I have to say that all the accolades I've read from the "experts" are well deserved. There is a character that shines through these recordings. And the recordings themselves are warm and pleasant, considering they come from mono shellac sides from another era.

There's something really special about this "vintage" music that seemingly cannot be replicated in modern recordings; an ethereal quality that's hard to explain, clearly belonging to the age from which it came. We are greatly enriched by its preservation!

5 out of 5 stars Brazilian's Soprano.......2005-08-26

Excellent, amazing, recommend.

5 out of 5 stars The most charming voice you will ever hear!.......2004-07-19

Bidu Sayão is considered the best Brazilian soprano ever and certainly one of the most taltented singers of the 20th century. Do you want to know why? This disc contains some important selections of Sayão's wonderful artistry. It includes arias and songs from French repertoire, in which Sayão is even in our days considered the most perfect example of French singing and style, some lovely Brazilian folksongs and her legendary recording of the Cantilena of Bachianas Brasileiras no. 5. It's a very good selection for every listener, since it shows Sayão's perfect vocal technique and sincere and moving interpretation. We have a joyful "Je veux vivre" as well as a heartbreaking "Adieu, notre petite table". Ah, but the true show here is her Bachianas Brasileiras. I'm absolutely sure you will never hear a better interpretation of this song! Sayão could sing from the most lyric parts and the most wonderful pianissimi to the most incredible coloraturas with no difficulty. Actually, she had exactly what I would call "perfect vocal technique", since it never, I mean, never fails. Her voice was small, but so carefully trained that it amazes me more than many big voices I heard. It's always pure, sweet and charming.

Dont' miss this singer who was maybe the best lyric soprano of the first half of the 20th century. If you are interested in listening to good music sung by a legendary voice, you really need to buy it!

5 out of 5 stars Perfection!.......2003-12-16

There is a tremendous sincerity and perfection present in this CD. The Villa Lobos has attained classic status and should be owned by serious collectors. I have not heard No. 5 surpassed yet. Rosa Ponselle wrote in her biography that Sayao's pianissimi were "unequalled in my experience", the finest she had ever heard. Mind you, Ponselle heard them all including that Spanish Diva that made a career of singing softly. However, in Sayao's voice they have meaning are used to emotional effect superbly. Otherwise, the voice is so finely tuned that this old mono recording often gives a studio effect.

Bravo Madame Sayao!
