Dim, smoky atmosphere: the roots of jazz Pierre Bluse realizes an old dream: his first jazz album.
A powerful sextet is born offering a thick and yet delicate style inspired by Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers. Drummer, percussionist, composer, director of the percussion department of McGill University, Pierre Bluse on the drums is accompanied by competent musicians: Roger Walls, trumpet; Dany Roy, sax; Kelsley Grant, trombone; Fred Henke, piano and Dave Gelfand on bass.
