Un disco de músic bella.......2004-10-06

Laura Pausini is one of the best singers I have ever heard. This CD shows her great talent and how beautiful she can sing. I like each and every track but my ultimate favorites are Meta de Mi Viaje, Jenny, Si No Me Quieres Hoy, and of course Entre Tu y Mil Mares. I recommend anything else by her and to purchase her new album ESCUCHA ATENTO and Hélène Segara and Laura's collaboration "On n'oublie jamais rien, on vit avec."

An excellent and very talented singer born in Italy that has exceeded in the last few years, each time coming out with even better songs than her latest CD, that have matured and evolved along with her voice. I have to say her songs are charged with positive energy and lots of real emotions that can be felt when you listen to her voice. Very talented and professional. I was fortunate enough to see her Live Concert 2001 World Tour in person and it was just extraordinary.

This CD and the new one she just released in October, Lo Mejor de...Volvere Junto a Ti 2001, (The Best of...Laura Pausini) or in Italian, has many of her greatest songs and hits and is definitely one for the collection. Best CD I have ever bought, this one and Lo Mejor de... Laura Pausini. Great for all ages.

Laura won the in the new artist category at the Festival of San Remo in 1993, at the age of 18.

We hadn't seen a new album in two years, I was beginning to get worried. Laura is very popular in South America but she just doesn't seem to have taken off in the U.S. I think she will be doing an English album next. In the meantime, check out her fan website, it's one of the better ones out there. This Spanish version of this CD is very good, although I prefer the Italian. My favorite? "Un error de los grandes"--the sentiment rings true.

Music That Transcends Language Barriers.......2006-09-28

This is my first Laura Pausini album and after hearing it, all I can say is "wow." When I bought this CD, I wasn't really sure what to expect. But after hearing just the first song, "Siamo Noi (We Are)", I was instantly hooked. Every song is a winner, no joke. Laura's powerful voice is haunting, especially in the song, "Musica Sarà (Music Will Be)." It doesn't matter if a listener doesn't understand Italian. Just from listening, you can tell Laura is passionate about all that she sings, which is mostly about love. I highly recommend those who enjoy romantic ballads and soulful voices to pick up this album. You won't regret it.

This has got to be my favorite Laura Pausini cd...mainly because I like every single song! Sometimes you buy a cd where at least one of the tracks is disappointing. But this is not the case with "Tra te e il mare"! My favorite tracks would have to be: Volevo Dirti Che Ti Amo, Il Mio Sbaglio Piu Grande, Tra Te e il Mare, Viaggio con Te, Per Vivere, Come Si Fa, Jenny, and The Extra Mile. Actually, they're all my favorites!
You will not regret buying this cd! It's honestly one of the best cds I own! Enjoy!

Her Best Yet.......2004-12-15

Just when I thought Laura couldn't do it any better, she manages to do it again, this time with "TRA TE E IL MARE".
This album was a present to me Christmas 2000 and it still remains in rotation with the material I listen to regularly.

Orchestrating a successful album is not only about all songs being good; it's about the placing of the songs and ultimately having the voice to carry each and every one of them. When the album begins, "Siamo Noi" immediately inspires you, as if you are listening to someone speaking directly to your heart. From that point, she takes you through a journey of incredible music, from the heartfelt tune of "Volemo Dirti Che Ti Amo" or the poignant "Tra Te E Il Mare" where her voice let's you know she means what she says. Truly...she is simply amazing !!!!

The joy of listening to every song makes you hope the album doesn't end, yet you hope it end soon to start it all over again.

I don't think I've enjoyed all the songs in her other albums as I do with this one. This album is perhaps the most grown up lyrics that she has ever done, where you don't feel like she is signing about "puppy love" or some past love in one's life but about very real, vivid, inspiring situations.

Way to go Laura...keep up the good work.

Northside Up! Another Classic In The Rap-A-Lot Legacy.......2007-04-22

A-G-2-A-Ke comes out real hard and hungry on their first release, 1998's Mil-Ticket on Rap-A-Lot Records. Let me say, it is awesome! These guys put Mil Town, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the map. These guys let it be know that they are hustlers; they get their grind on thru the whole album. Productionwise, this album stomps hard with a mix of laid back G-Funk and rattlin and bass heavy midwestern funk, sometimes meshing with a nice southern influence due to the label being a southern empire. The beats are awesome, mostly handled by 88 Keys, a few by Scarface (Brad Jordan, namely the ones he appears on), and Mike Dean adds a litle somethin too. The lyrics are hardcore and raw throughout, even though they light up a J on "R U High Yet?" with Yukmouth over a relaxed G-Funk beat perfect to slide n glide to. They also reminisce about one of the homies on "C-Lo" over a serious, whiny relaxed beat. These cats get a litle flossy on the laid back "Big Balla Society" over a twangy G-Funk style beat. A-G-2-A-Ke gets cautionary on "Tommorow Ain't Promised" and "Can't Nobody Change This" all over nice melodic beats, the former produced by Face. Now, these cats can rap a different speeds, from normal to fast like many midwestern rappers do, and each has his own flow; G-Mone and Mac Fee spit venom throughout. "Cocaine" is menacing with a bit about how drugs rule the game and the hood; you can also find this track on Scarface's 1998 album/compilation My Homies, also a recommended listen. I believe they have a second album, Ball $treet from 2001, but I know little about this one; it seems rare and expensive. It could be good, but I have never heard it yet. But as for Mil Ticket, definitely support the Rap-A-Lot legacy and scope up this slept on classic; this album did not garner a 5 star train for no reason!!!

When i listen to A-G-2-A-KE Mil Ticket, i always wonder how come they've never released a second album, did somebody become enemys, or did somebody died??? I cant seem to understand...

One Of The Most Slept On Classics.......2004-06-29

I usually don't do album reviews but I gotta say this was tight from beginning to end and I was shook that this was given a low reading by a magazine I call "The Sauce" So many of yall need to stop reading magazine ratings and come to sites likes this and read your own peers ratings. Word of mouth is bliss. A-G-2-A-KE who came out on Rap-A-Lot hasn't come out with a cd since this classic. I'm salty they didn't "make it" because this was heavily slept on!

I just bought this CD for the second time after lending-it out 2 years ago and losing the friendship over the failure to return this MASTER-PIECE,I burned a copy to play in the ride and downloaded it in my files,this CD "mil-ticket"is a complete package from the beginning to the end,creative,artistic,classic,brilliant and genius.

My favorite Rap album ever..........2003-03-16

Ahh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-AHH! From the beginning of this album to the last note of the last track is literrally explosive. So many good tracks, and I can't really explain it to a non listener, one would have to listen to it first, then, only then will they understand that this album is like a great movie, it's the Pulp Fiction, the Godfather of rap albums. I was severely impressed.

Rosario does it again, with this brand new CD called "De Mil Colores"...Not only can we enjoy her outstanding and beautiful voice, we can also listen to songs and rhythms which I predict are soon to become instant hits.

Her talent and her devotion to her flamenco music is obvious, capturing the attention of anyone who listens to the record...You don't have to be Spanish and know how to dance flamenco, trust me: with this album you'll be on your feet before you know it, drawn by the wonderful tunes!

This is by far, one of the greatest and most talented singers and performers to come out of Spain, if this is your first chance in listening to Rosario, I strongly suggest you buy this record, and get to know this terrific singer!

After her Multi-platinum, Grammy award winner album "Muchas flores". Rosario returns to the top with this very good album.
"De mil colores" ("Of 1000 colors") follows the same direction of "Muchas flores" with her very known fusion of styles such as flamenco, pop and rock. The songs in this album are very good, the lyrics can be touchy, happy and even funny as track #10 "Los tangos de mi abuela" (My grandma's tangos), which is my favorite song here it has lots of energy that makes you feel like dancing and the lyrics...the lyrics are great with lines such as: "Mi abuelita tenia una olla, la metia debajo la cama y en la olla no se lo que hacia que la convertia en bola infernal" ("My grandmother had a pot, she use to put it under the bed and I don't know what she did with it that became like a ball of fire") this might sound stupid but when you hear the song, sounds very good.
There are also love songs such as: "Viviras" ("You'll live"), "De mil colores" ("Of 1000 colors"), "Como tu" ("Like you"), "Atado a esa mujer" ("Tighted up to that woman") with Antonio Carmona (main singer of "Ketama"). The funky ones are: "Vueltas" ("Spins"), "En mi casa" ("At my place"), "Aguanta ahi" ("Hold it there") and "La vida es un sueño" ("Life's a dream").
This album was released in november 2003 in Spain and became an instant hit, debuting at #1 and selling hundred thousands records on it's release week.
I strongly recommend this album. You may also like very much her previous work "Muchas flores".

One of the best Rock en Español albums ever!.......2007-04-08

Definetely on of the best records ever. HIGHLY energetic in songs like "Yo Te Vi" or "Bolsas de Té", mellow in songs like "Aire". I watched them live in Ponce in the Intercollegiate Events back in April 1996 and they simply blew my mind. To this day I list that outdoor concert as one of the best I've seen live and the funny thing is that many, many people that I've met later in life that also were there also share the same opinion. Kickass. Definitely an album to own.

I just wanted to say this is a truly excellent album, I absoultely love it and therefore I believe that credit is due in the right places.
Due to the evils of the rock industry Bohemia Suburbana (the original band) was ripped off. The voice heard on this album is not Giovanni Pinzon, the music and lyrics were not written by the people credited in the cd booklet. This album cover is absolutely not something they would choose. So please just remember when you are enjoying this amazing music that the people who's names and pictures are inside the booklet are not the talented individuals that actually put together the greatness you are listening to and perhaps think about the guys back in Guatemala with the real talent.

Brilliant, moving, and that voice...........2004-01-07

It should be a "must have" in the music collections of all Spanish Rock fans. I've seen the band in concert twice. They are even better live and that is hard to beat since this album is my favorite of all time. They leave contemporary Spanish rock strongholds like Mana eating dust with their magical sound, spellbinding lyrics, and lead singer Giovanni Pinzon's voice drives the emotion of every song into the very depths of the soul. BUY, BUY, BUY. You're in for a musical treat.
