The music is ethereal and very calming. I love old hymns, but truly enjoy the talented playing of Mrs. Sammarco.

Uplifting Yet Serene.......2005-12-25

This music was played during communion. Its goal was to put one in the mood of reflection. I know 2 psyho therapists who play it when they are meeting with patients. My sister likes to listen before she does her bible study. When I am stressed out and need to calm down, I play this CD. It puts me in a place that is serene. I cannot totally express how much joy this CD gives me.

Amazing Grace is Amazing!.......2007-05-19

I heard Mark O'connor's performance on this CD before it was released. A friend of mine had Mark and myself over for dinner and Mark shared this track with us. He said the original idea behind the arrangement was one of hope and redemption, but after meditating on the true nature of the songs inclusion on this compilation, he charged the Orchestra and it's director with a different task. It is the saddest musical moment I have ever heard. The Orchestra plays a low peddle while Mark's violin becomes a mournfull bag-pipe suffering the losses of the lost and their families. We stood in the living room and cried. Sometimes it's just not proper to look ahead and press on. Sometimes suffering is the correct response.

I found this album to be truly uplifting. George Foreman has touched a chord and the use of the different performers, along with George's excellent voice, is outstanding. This album will make a difference for many who buy it. I consider it to be excellent!

This is a great cd in words, horrible in singing. This guy's like Paul McCartney. His painting a bunch of buckets of paint on a wall. This guy's music is a bunch of noise mixed into this thing that makes rap sound like gospel music. He stinks at boxing, cooking (just look at the guy), and everything else! This is a failiure of a sellout. If you think this is the chef of all time, get this cd.

Album Description

Alicia Solomon's wide experience includes opera, ("Queen of the Night"), oratorio, ("Messiah"), and musical theater, (Gilbert & Sullivan to Weber & Rice), as well as extensive sacred work, spanning three continents and over thirty years. Recently, she has performed with the Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Symphony, Santa Fe Concert Association, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, who welcome her back this Christmas season. She is currently soloist with the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Santa Fe. Her first CD, "Psalms & Prophets", was just released in October, and is an eclectic mix of original, contemporary, and classical favorites. Alicia is a Brownie troop leader in Los Alamos, New Mexico, where she lives with her husband, Jeff Click, and their daughters Sophie, 7, and Rosie, 2.

10 track CD album ------------- Started by Michael Coogan and Jordan Reading in early 90s, Michael was playing in a 7 piece band from members of his church and asked Jordan over to jam... Coogan almost immediately dismissed his six other band members, and he and Jordan formed "Crossword" as an outlet for Michael's original songs. Rotating through three different drummers (Brian Logue, Ron Oliva, Travis Bird), the eventual addition of Greg Martinez on Keyboards filled out the band's sound. .... Billed as "Michael Coogan & Crossword", The "On The Wings of Eagles" CD is a collection of Michael's "lighter" songs, most of which never made it to the live Crossword set. The CD was designed as a fundraiser for the charity organization of the same name, so Michael specifically wrote songs for this project in addition to existing Crossword songs. Without being available in stores, the disc sold quite well locally - over a thousand units and the new songs got considerable airplay on the local Christian radio station. .... Michael Coogan continues to write original songs and lead worship at his Church in Chico, CA.
