About the Artist
Jane's adventure with the Celtic harp began after spending half a year in Wales studying medieval Welsh bardic poetry. In 1989 she and harper Debra Knodel joined in a musical partnership as Knodel & Valencia. Known today as Spookytree, the duo continues to create and perform throughout the United States.

Captivated by the resonances of her rare metal-strung harp, Jane invokes the beauty and delicacy of this powerful instrument with a music that rings with both passion and grace, a music that is both ancient and new.

Also included are several poetic original songs and compositions suffused with echoes from times past and imagery from the natural world.

Mysterious Eastern Ambience.......2001-07-09

Al Gromer Khan performs ambient music using synthisizers and a touch of sitar giving his music a very hypnotic eastern feel to it. I love listening to this music late at night with the lights real low. Very moving stuff. Also, check out his other CD- Mahogany Nights. These are the 2 Al Gromer Khan Cds you absolutely should own.
