Grannie Sings : The Secret Life of Animals

About the Artist
As a life-long painter, I was surprised and certainly dlighted to find myself writing a song, rather than drawing a picture, to express the rush of emotion on the birth of my granddaughter. Her arrival five years ago opened a new door in my heart and these two song collections, Why I Love Life So and The Secret Life of Animals came through. And there's a third one on the way!

As a painter I am accustomed to working in solitude, and so have reveled in the company necessary to make music. And what company it has been!

Jeff Waxman, Producer and Arranger, received a Grammy nominationn for his production of the cast album of the Broadway musical, Doonesbury, and was awarded an Emmy for his scoring of an educational children's video entitled Smoke Free Class of 2000.

Marjorie Lipari, Co-Producer and Artistic Director, was on the original cast of Hair, performed with La Mama troupe in Europe, and recently wrote and produced music for the Netherlands Dance Theater.

My daughter and I both loved listening to this collection of animal songs. Highly recommended for anyone with kids, especially kids who love small furry creatures (and large furry creatures, small slimy creatures, and medium-sized feathered creatures).
