About the Artist
Najwa Karam is one of the top Lebanese and Arab contemporary artists. She was born in Zahle, Lebanon. She started her career in 1985 when she joined the program "Layali Lubnan" where she sang a 'mawwal' and won the Gold Medal. She then joined The Arabic music institute for four years, two years with the famous Lebanese folk composer Zaki Naseef followed by two years with Fouad Awad. Her first album was released in 1989.

It wasn't something new for Mrs. Najwa to release such a great album but this album was and still a very speciall album because it was released after a very bad roumer that attacked Mrs. Najwa and cause a lot of pain to her and all her fans ..... In this album Mrs. Najwa proved that she is the #1 singer in the arabic world and proved to everone that she deserved to be named " The Sun Of The Arabic Song "
