I am shocked at how terrible this release is. The first "famous" cd was really really good! This however, is not. Terrible track selection on both CD's. Luckily, I picked up a burned copy from a friend.

Love the CD - Hate the Copy Control.......2006-04-11

This CD is what French House music is all about. Having been to a F*** Me I'm Famous party I suppose I can appreciate it in a different way that average listeners but this CD contains tracks that are timeless and haven't been overplayed (yet anyway.) My one problem with this CD, and its a big problem, is that EMI uses Copy Control technology on this and all of the CDs released under the label so even though I legally bought the CD they get to dictate how I listen to it. I can not load it onto an Ipod (or any other MP3 player) and when listening to it on a computer the tracks often have breaks between them. EMI claims to be working on resolving the problem but every other label who has attempted to use this technology has had to bail out because of the above mentioned problems. If you don't plan on loading it to an MP3, burning a backup copy, or listening to it on a computer I highly recommend it.

people having problems listening this record and givin' it 1 star, makes me wanna say - "your business is not dance music, choose another path" if u have a love/hate relation with dance music, stay away from this, cause this is for true dance music lovers, and, makes me wanna shout - it is awesome. the tracks by dandrea doria and miss kittin r 2 examples of what i am saying. if ure into dance music, get it while u can, u have been 2 long far away from real pleasure.

I have a love/hate relationship with dance music. This is the hate part. I'm seeing Guetta's "Just For One Day" get more positive press day in and day out. Why? All it is a loop of *ONE LINE* from Bowie's "Heroes" with a bass drum line tacked onto it. It's the worst dance remix/cover I've ever heard. I can't imagine how long it took him to put that together. 5 minutes?

This cd is really cool. If you can find it anywhere be sure to buy it. I am a big JAMMS fan. This is the best cd for the coming millenium. If you liked the What time is love? song. You will like this cd. In the background you hear the melody of the song. And a guy screaming, "And what time is love?" They also use samples from The KLF and The Jamms. The second track on this cd would be really cool if they played it at a football game. It is What time is love? really jazzed up. Even though it is a short cd. It is well worth it. At the end of the first track they play the original what time is love? theme. And people shouting forget the Millenium! A great cd.

Crazee alternative to stale american hip hop.......2003-08-14

This cd is just fun, something that you can listen to while you study or cruise around. American Hip-Hop is so stale right now with like every track being produced by the neptunes this cd is so refreshing! It's pretty hardcore garage though, so you kinda have to get into it. So Solid Crew's cd They Don't KNow is proly better if your looking for more of a hip hop flava. Mis-teeq is another garage group thats a blend of garage and r and b so I'ld look into them before u buy this cd to see if your feelin the sound. If you like garage this cd is pretty good. I like how this cd goes beyond so solid into other artists cause most of them I've never heard of. I personally like songs with rap in them and like half the songs dont have words which kinda isn't cool but there are so many songs i guess does it really matter? I love the bonus movies on the disc 2, it's 3 of their music videos which if your a North American like me you've never seen. The best songs are proly... Envy - So Solid Crew ft. Ms. Dynamite (best so solid song ever!), bouncing flow - k2 family, messy - purple haze kru, i dunno theres a lot on this cd I like. Maxwell D I never heard of until I bought the cd is really good I dunno he kinda reminds me of a male Ms. Dynamite back when she still did garage but I dunno maybe thats just me, his track is good anyways... If I were you I'ld give this cd a try just to experience something new.
