More Oriental Flavor.......2006-01-21

This CD is distinctly more oriental in flavor then Buddha Bar CDs. Although I prefer original Buddha Bar collection this one is solid contender to that series. Music is mellow and relaxing, but it is not contiguously/seamlessly mixed as on Buddha Bar series.

Great Asian Chill-Out CD.......2002-03-12

I came across this while brousing in a record store and bought it on a whim. After enjoying "Buddha Bar III" and "Kharma Beats," I figured this was worth a shot. I was not disappointed. While it doesn't quite measure up to the seamless mixes of the Buddha Bar series, this cd is basically from the same school. It's a mix of upbeat and more relaxing tracks that makes for a good listen, and it's cheaper than a Buddha Bar 2-cd set.

Great compilation.......2002-11-13

This is a great compilation offering a nostalgic trip to the atmosphere of the Cafe de Flore for those of us with the "Paris blues". Y. Buenaventura's version of S. Gainsbourg's "l'eau a la bouche" is a gem - he adds a passion and latin accent to it!! "Ou est tu passe mon St Germain des Pres" is another "little treasure" in this collection. Good mix of old and new!! Easy listening from begining to end!

For Those with an Interest in Modern Middle Eastern Music (And Your Numbers in the Americas have Certainly Ballooned Since 9/11), Here is an Excellent Introductory Disc to the Music that People There (And all Over the Eastern Hemisphere) Listen to Today.
