Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Addicting -- Songs Easily As Good As Tunak Tunak Tun.......2006-01-08

This review is catered to those college students who saw the Tunak Tunak Tun music video and was curious to know if Daler Mendhi's other songs are any good. The simple answer is yes. Ek-Dana is a fantastically addicting album of great tracks, from "Hum Dil" to "Tu Kudi." I don't know what he's saying, but the music is great. If you liked the music of Tunak, you'll like Ek-Dana.

And can anyone figure out why "Teri Nau's" first seconds sound like polka music? Just curious.

5 out of 5 stars Tunak Tunak Tun.......2005-02-22

To the listeners of Tunak Tunak Tun,

Never before have I dedicated any developed portion of this site to the work of another man. However, I have witnessed genius in its purest form, and I feel it is my duty to spread this brilliance to all. Those who feel it might be somewhat odd that he sings these romantic lyrics of seduction to three clones of himself simply cannot appreciate nor fully comprehend the elevated thinking of Daler Mehndi.

Be sure to learn the mesmerizing dance that is performed during the chorus, which includes holding the right hand over the heart and slowly lifting the left hand as if holding a glass of wine while, clapping three times, extending the left arm forward while pretending to swing a lasso with the right hand above the head, and finally clapping three more times, all while rhymically bouncing to the beat.

Having experienced these four minutes and seventeen seconds of pure harmonic and visual bliss, I am rendered completely at a loss for words.

I feel honored to experience creativity in its purest form, and I hope that this message of absolute enlightenment will spread throughout the globe.

All the best,

Timothy Lee

5 out of 5 stars What's playing at the Indian restaurant!.......2004-01-20

I come from Toronto and I always enjoyed the music played in my neighborhood, Little India. Very melodious and peppy, fun and danceable mix of Eastern tonalities and Western beats... all summer it was everywhere but somehow it never got tired. Turns out that it was Dahler! Recently I rediscovered his music by accident through another website. Now I know why Mr Singh's teenagers played this cd over and over washing their car!
