About the Artist
International artists are: Sar Amiel (born in Pembroke, Bermuda, and raised in Israel) and SKAMP, a singing sensation trio in Europe. SKAMP members include: Erica Quinn Jennings (born in Dublin, Ireland), providing vocals and lyrics; Victor "Vee" Diawara (born in Lithuania, raised in Mali, Africa, graduated in Germany), producer, vocals, guitar; Vilius Alesius (born in Lithuania, graduated in Germany), vocals and lyrics.

Kingz & Queenz -- a compilation soundtrack CD featuring urban contemporary artist Sar Amiel (Positive Music Works) and popular international hip-hop group SKAMP (Koja Records Group) -- features 14 positive, inspiring songs on peace and unity, overcoming obstacles, making a difference, and achieving your dreams. Some of the songs appear on The Pioneer Living® Series, an educational 18-topic PBS series (on 9 half hour videos) promoting integration, inclusiveness and individual effort as a means to achieving the American Dream.

The Pioneer Living Series features 22 Hispanic/Latino guests, 11 Asian guests, plus Asian host, 11 African/ Haitian/ Jamaican guests and 10 Middle Eastern guests. The CD is co-produced by Pioneer Living Corp, Positive Music Works, and Koja Records Group.

Five of the Kingz & Queenz songs have French, Spanish and Lithuanian lyrics. The inspiring messages in the lyrics speak to all ethnicities, backgrounds and age groups. Real Southern Hip-Hop.......2005-10-09

Way before Ludacris, David Banner, Lil Flip, No Limit Records, Cash Money, & all that other so called Southern Rap was the underground kingz...and to this day they're still the kingz of the Underground and the South. Way ahead of their time and can never be outdone. This record along with "Super Tight" & "Ridin' Dirty" are must haves.....you've been missin' out if ya ain't heard! Smoke Fat, Listen Loud, Peace

Dirty South LEGENDS.......2005-09-24

These boys been doing they thing for what, 15 years now. I didnt know about this album until recently. I was very familiar with Ridin Dirty tho. I thought that that was there first album. Hearing this album that came out 3 years earlier impressed me even more. They laid down the groundwork for Southern hip hop that was based on Blues, Soul, and G Funk. This was back in the early 90's when Southern hip hop and West Coast were basically talking to each other both being heavily influenced off each other. These guys along with 8 ball & MJG, Triple Six, Outkast, Goodie Mobb, and the Geto Boys are the only groups that can be called Dirty South Legends.

Definitely the best rap group in the south (yes I think they're better then the Geto Boyz & Eightball and MJG). Only 11 songs, but most of the songs are long. It's from 1992 and I still rock it in 2005. Guests are on a few songs and each member has a solo or 2. Most of the lyrics are either dirty or about cocaine. It has 2 classics, 2 I skip and 2 are ok. Production is good on most songs and handled by Bernie Bismarck, Pimp C & Bun B on all the tracks. A Must have southern rap album that paved the way for many to come from Texas.

Tight Shyyyt 4Sho.......2004-12-08

This has 2 be 1 of the tightest Cd's Ugk evva did or will evva do. They helped in opening doors 4 a lot of Texas rappers. If it wasn't 4 Ugk and this cd we would've nevva probably had Dj Screw, Lil Flip, or a lot of other Tx Undeground legends.
This goes back 2 where U can let the Cd flow from the begining 2 the end. Pocket full of Stones a true Hip Hop Classic
Use Me Up & Cramping my Style are a couple of my favorites. But as I said I let this flow from begining 2 end .Every & I mean EVERY TIME!!!!!

UGKýs first album is an undisputed Dirty South classic. This duo, hailing from Texas, was one of the first dirty south groups that were not bass music to put it down (along with Geto Boys & Eightball & MJG). UGKýs debut album is beyond great. The samples used in the songs are not disgraceful and UGK are notorious for sampling on their earlier albums. The rapping, compared to their skills now, is a little lacking but they were in their developmental stages during this album. Still, they drop memorable lines and classic verses all throughout this album. The best songs include but are not limited to ýSomething Goodý, ýUse Me Upý, and ýCramping My Styleý. This album is a must have for all fans of UGK and of Dirty South music. 5 Star classic.

Slammin' Cuts Str8 Outta Texas .......2006-03-22

Pimp C and Bun B came out in 1994 with an album with nothin but fire. This album slams from start to finish with that old school down south feel. The beats are melodic G-Funk, with twangy guitar and smokin keyborad riffs. Lyrically and vocally, UGK kills in all departments. They really know how to tear up the mic with their firey flows. The track "Feds in Town" is a gangster classic with a phat, funky beat and tight scratches. "Super Tight..." is the perfect one to pop in the six fo while hittin switches down the avenue. The mid 90's was one of the best periods in rap history, and this album is testament to it. Don't sleep on this classic.

One Word - TRILL.......2005-09-15

Mayne...born and raised in Orange, TX - AKA Da Fruit...20 minutes from Port Arthur where UGK's from. These boys been reppin' since the late 80's y'all....highly underrated. UGK is mos def in the top 3 of pioneers of the south movement. Slim Thug, TIP, Flip, Mike Jones, all you boys - give props to the cats that opened the doors up.

This is some str8 killa from the Kingz...Bun B and Pimp C Def. Show some real talent & ability on this record....easily up there w/"Ridin' Dirty" & "Too Hard to Swallow". These guys have some of the tightest beats and rhymes out there...10 years+ later, it's still better than most s*** out there. My Fav tracks are "I left it Wet for ya", "Underground", "Feds in Town", "It's Supposed to Bubble",....they're all tight..Super tight...check this one out!!

4.5 star 2nd Group Album from UGK.......2005-06-05

The boyz from Port Arthur return after 2 years for their 2nd group album, and their 2nd best album. Only 11 songs but no weak point, 1 classic, 2 almost classics, 2 are ok, and the rest are good or great songs. Guests are on 3 of the 11 songs. As usual for a UGK album, the production is great and handled mostly by Pimp C (9 songs) and DJ DMD does the other 2. They show why they're the best group to come out of the south on this one and especially with their "Ridin Dirty" album. A must have, great album!!

Jaz-O has been a talented MC for years... I'm talkin years! His guest artists are decent but no way close to his lyrical ability. At best, you get really into the LP and then it just loses its heat. You have your highs, you have your lows but in the end its tight.

Finally the man who brought us jigga man, the man who was behind the famed but mocked"hawian sophie" song is ready to get up to plate.
pros:great rhymes,not like he's newjack... he gave us jay-z for crying out loud! good song are "let's go",direies &718.the rest of the group say the same ol stuff but they are still hot.Good guest calabos/m.o.p. jay-z others.

cons:beats sound all the same like swizz beats good half of his old catilog,but rhymes shine though even though beats get meidoucoure real quick, only for dance heads.

overall the mans back & he's just as good as jigga now if only his beats were better. but worth the money

this album is hotttt. and when i say hot i mean blazin hot. i'm i love with every song. they have songs for every occation. slow songs songs to dance to songs that send messags.just say no is a good message to everyone no matter how old. it's a story about what drugs to to people and the affects they can have on you. this be him is one of my favorite. trust me this group is doing it and they are definatly going to be here to stay.
