This is a good introduction to the singing and songwriting of one of the greatest French artists ever. Forget about Francoise Hardy, Bardot, Birkin, etc. this is the real deal: a beautiful voice and songs of great wit and emotive power. Highly recommended.

This is by far the best Adamo compilation available. It contains his most famous song, "Inch Allah" ("God Willing"), as well as his big hits "Jaime", "La Nuit", and "Tombe La Neige", and the other 14 selections are all winners. I love the disco flavored "Je Danse", and the subtle rhythms of "Fichue Samba".

With the exception of the humorous "Le Barbu sans Barbe", this compillation accentuates his exquisite, melodic love songs, sung with such tender passion by this wonderful artist, who has been one of Europe's most poetic and brilliant singer/songwriters for decades.
Most of these songs go back to the '60s and '70s, and are classics. The sound is very good, and the total time is 62'27.
Though there are no liner notes, the disc is well packaged in the new style solid, sturdy cardboard case.
If you are only to own one Adamo CD, this is the one to have...it's a treasure and every song on it is truly "Indispensable".

Kinda Ridiculous.......2004-06-04

This CD is the same exact album as "Time After Time: The Best Of Cyndi Lauper" but the track numbers are rearranged and this CD is cheaper.

Cyndi is Good Enough!.......2002-07-09

As a Cyndi Lauper fan having this collection of Cyndi's greatest hits is a real treat. This compilation CD contains all of Cyndi Lauper's greatest songs ever. Her most beautiful songs are all together in this one hit package. Besides the ever famous Girls Just Wann Have Fun and Time after Time this hits package also contains my favorite and one of Cyndi's best recordings ever Good Enough from the Goonies. That is a rare track to come by and it is here in this hits compilation. Another highlight of this collection is that it also has probably the most beautiful song ever performed by Cyndi The World Is Stone. The World Is Stone and Good Enough are two classic tracks by Cyndi Lauper that can only be found together in this collection. The rest of the collection has her all time classics like All Through the Night, Change of Heart, I Drove All Night, True Colors, and don't forget her very fantastic When You Were Mine that you don't often hear of from her debut She's So Unususal album.
A Cyndi Lauper fan would want this hits package in their collection. Cyndi Lauper is truly the most colorful and one of the most talented artists that is around. She has also been an extremely underrated artist. This is sad because she has so much talent and so much to give. She has a beautiful voice and is truly one of the few unique artists that has ever been around.

Essential 80's music.......2002-06-24

The most dissappointing thing about Cyndi's American compilation Seven Deadly Cyns is that it doesn't feature the Goonies song. That song is just as good as Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Time After Time. Great though, hey.

Cyndi Rules.......2002-02-22

Picked up this album not so long ago and was totally exhilerated by it. What an awesome array of tracks, especially "Goonies". However for me one vital CYNDI track was missing - hole in my heart from Vibes - I just love this track - luckily for me I have it on a compilation cd.
Cyndi can do no wrong and I eagerly await her next cd.

This is some of Celine's early recordings. I do not speak French but she certainly sounds different. I've listened to this cd once and it sounds pretty good...and a great start of what was to come for Celine...
