I first heard Luca Dirisio when i was in Rome last year and loved it. It was his first song "Calma E Sangue Freddo" When i was back to Italy this year, i heard Per Sempre and loved that aswell! =) I think everyone should have a listen to him and hear how good Luca is!

I visited Italy last year and came across Luca's video for Calma E Sangue Freddo on MTV. His videos get played quite frequently on MTV Italia - No wonder really, his songs are very catchy (i mean i heard it for the first time, i was humming my way to breakfast the first time), he knows his melodic pop very well and he can sing! He's italy's cross between Justin Timberlake and Jason Mraz...Definitely a summer treat :)

This cd is one of my favorite Italian pop cds!!! I love Luca! He has a great voice and his songs are so catchy and up-beat I always listen to them when I'm having a bad day. My favorite tracks would have to be Calma e Sangue Freddo (of course!!! this song is how I first heard about Luca), Le fate, Il Mio Amico Vende il Té, Destino Anarchio, Per Sempre, and Per Le Mie Mani. The others are just as great, in fact I love them all!!! I highly recommend buying this cd; it's wonderful! I can't wait for Luca's next cd to come out!!

I've fallen in love............2005-01-30

When I ran across Luca I was actually looking for another Italian artist, but thankfully I stopped to give him a chance. I've fallen in love with this gorgeous import and am planning on continuing to follow his career. His songs are light and heart felt. My favorite tracks are 1,4,5,6,7,8 and especially 10. I couldn't stop playing it over and over. His voice is smooth, also strong when needed. His music reminds me of Latin artist Juanes, which is also another singer I loooove. You will not be disappointed with Luca Di Risio....I highly recommend his debut album, also any and everything that comes from him in the future.

Catchy Italian pop.......2004-12-03

I first discovered Luca DiRisio when I went to Italy this past summer and saw his music video for "calma e sangue freddo". It was very catchy and he is a very attractive Italian. I eventually ordered the single for myself and listened to this single over and over again. The new CD came out and it's great! He writes his own songs, plays the guitar and is only 25! It's a good CD with catchy lyrics and has a good beat...great for anyone who likes a more pop-feel in their music and a refreshing vocal sound.

Luca knows the elements that go into a fine pop tune and this is one album that is perfect for just switching on and having a listen no matter where you are and how you are feeling. I was very impressed by his performance at the San Remo Music Festival in which he sang Spariro (it is available on Youtube), it was heartfelt and he sang it note for note. Excellent musician who is a joy to watch on stage. This guy's on an incline and it will be very interesting to watch him blossom. Italy is proud to have you on the world stage Luca :)

Mi piacciono molto i due!.......2004-01-09

I first listened to this in a store in Milano, and only heard a couple tracks, but this one's a winner if you like other italiani like Nek or Eros Ramazzotti. I particularly like the fact that these are live, and that in some songs the crowd singing along with him adds excellent harmony/backup. There are some duets, with (Lorenzo) Jovanotti, and Alessio, whose last name I've forgotten. I especially like Inno Nazionale, Farfallina, and Settembre, the new single.
