About the Artist
The Ambassadors have been singing together for about 11 years. Formed while in school at an Andrews University affiliate institution back in Africa. While in Nigeria, we received recognition as the Best Gospel Artist in 1996 and 1997. In 1998, after our tour of Sweden, we were then invited to be part of a worldwide Christian satellite outreach, uplinked near Chicago, and we've been singing in the United States ever since. In 1999, we were awarded first prize in the PowerLife '99 Gospel Talent Search held in Alabama. We have made 3 records so far and we have a Christmas album still in the works. "Life & Works" is an excellent telling of the life of Mozart that primarily uses his letters, the letters of his family and friends, and his excerpts of his music. It is a rich combination that avoids many of the cliches of other biographical pieces (such as not ending with the Requiem)and gives a freshness and vibrancy to his life. The narrator was charming and quite entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed "Life & Works" and recommend it to Mozart lovers and those new to his work!

I have had this cd for years and I don't get tired of it. It is one of the cleanest harmony I've heard from a'cappella groups. And the songs are loaded with powerful, GOD-sent messages that touch the heart.

hello out there, if you haven't bought this cd then you really don't know what a rich blend of african music in a contemporary style sounds like. this cd is a must for everyone.

This is a complete cd from start to finish. I bought their first cd (Come on home) and loved it. This one is also fantastic. They sang songs in different West African languages, combined with English and French. Listen to track #5 (Ayimbowe), that's my stuff. Keep up the good work guys
