This album contains his big international hit "Burma Road" which he wrote in 1967. The song recalls the times and events of the rushout laborers' strike of the 1940's. Burma Road has been classified by some as the first true international hit to come out of the Bahamas.

Also included on this album are two popular tourist songs that were recorded under different names. "Crown Calypso" has been famed in commercials about the Bahamas and many know it as "Going Back To The Islands". "Bungy on Fire" also goes by the more popular name today "Pepper in the Vaseline".

This CD is great, it's cool & easy going, with a good beat. I heard it when i was in the Bahamas & have just found it. Whether or not this is your type of music I advise you to buy it

Great Bahama calypso rock.......2002-01-03

Great alblum. Hard too find, but well worth it. The songs are catchy and uplifting. Great guitar rhythm Makes you want to get up and dance, and remember your trip to Nassau. I've worn out two CD's already!
