Shakshuka newest release titled "ad halom" (from the bibilical Hebrew phrase meaning "until this point, until now") is a reflection of the group's current destination on their musical journey of renewing and updating timeless Israeli and Jewish music. The CD presents 11 original and unique arrangements of Israeli and Jewish music spiced with jazz.
During the process of recording this digital CD, the band had the pleasure to work with a talented group of artists who all contributed new sounds and depth to Shakshuka's original, one-of-a-kind arrangements. Guest artists include Paul Wertico (formerly of Pat Metheny Group) in the rhythm section. The CD includes an 8 page, 4 color CD insert which includes both the Hebrew and English lyrics.You will find pictures from the recording studio, downloads of MP3 music from the CD and other information about the recording.
