I couldn't agree more with the rest of the reviewers of this GORGEOUS piece of work by Neri Per Caso! It's a superbly crafted album and their vocal precision, impeccable tuning and soulful melodies will capture your heart right from the get go through till the very end. The emotions that exude from their voices for songs such as "Io Ci Saro" and "In Un Bar" are so effective that it had me listening to them repeatedly until I had to force myself to stop so my neighbors didn't think I was insane (but a cappella as good as this, DOES make me one nut! :) Way to go, NPC - THANKS SO MUCH for YET ANOTHER WINNER (I think "Stumenti", "Angelo Blu" and "Le Regazze" were all fantastic too). If anyone knows where I can purchase their Chistmas disc ("...and so it is Christmas") and "La Raccolta" albums, I'd be forever grateful if you could email me :) Basically, I don't think NPC can go wrong with any of their albums, since these guys have what it takes. Ciro and Deigo definitely KNOW how to captivate an audience with their arrangements and the group in general, have the voices and moves to bring that aspect to life in all it's splendor! Please keep 'em coming guys and may you achieve far greater success in the years ahead. God Bless! And to those of you reading this, I urge you to purchase this one (and their others as well) without hesitation (if you care more for the technical/musical brilliance of an a cappella group and not the fact that you might not understand the lyrics - yes I don't understand a word of Italian, but I have spent [a good sum of money] to get 4 of their albums so far - trust me, they are THAT Good!!).

Any a-capella group that can belt out their own songs in Italian and then deliver just as well with Bob Marley's "Jamming" is definitely worth listening to. Neri per Caso have the skills of Bobby McFerrin and the harmonizing abilities of any well known a-capella group. Their songs are sweet, endearing and well presented. This is a must have for any collection due to its uniqueness and its unusually calming qualities.

NERI PER CASO...BRAVO ITALIA!!! I'M FROM PUERTO RICO AND LOVE ITALIAN MUSIC. "NERI PER CASO" ACTUALLY THOUGHT ME HOW TO SING IN ITALIAN. I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN SING ALONG WITH THE GROUP. THE SONGS ARE GREAT AND I DANCE/SING TO THIS CD AT HOME, WORK AND WHILE WORKING-OUT. A MUST HAVE... I WISH I COULD FIND ANY TYPE OF "MUSIC VIDEOS" FROM THIS GROUP AND WATCH THEM PERFORM. Cool Italian Soul.......1999-06-14

Neri per Caso created a CD just as strong and delightful as their past ones. The first two tracks are excellent, and all the others are great as well. My only problem was the CD's length, around 40 minutes total. But regardless it is well worth the money! While the songs themselves will end, you will find yourselves humming the tunes, even trying to sing along in Italian! Catchy, uplifting, beautiful, this CD is a must buy for those who just love a cappella.

Best CD from this Italian acapella group to date........1999-03-24

I first experienced this group while channel surfing on cable. They were performing on a live concert on the Italian TV channel RA1. I've been a fan ever since.

Their first album "Le Regazze" blends pop, rap, reggae and 40's style vocal jazz, primarily cover songs. This CD is a bit uneven but there are some gems so it is worth a listen.

The group followed with "Strumenti" which is, as the title suggests, with instruments. This CD is primarily original material and finds the group developing a much more definative sound. They touch on African, pop and jazz rhythms with beautiful harmonies and a minimum intrusion of instruments.

Their latest self-titled release is acapella and once again mostly original material, but they still haven't gotten reggae out of their system as evidenced by their dead-on rendition of Bob Marley's "Jammin'." The infectious "Quello Che Vuoi" has hit written all over it. The CD includes a multimedia component...which is the video to "Quello Che Vuoi" as well as some behind the scenes looks at the singers...unfortunately all in Italian. But who cares. The music is great and if you need a translation go buy and Italian-English dictionary! I just ordered the Christmas CD and I'm looking forward to receiving it soon.

The group has a website, neripercaso.com, which is also in italian. Unfortunately, no tour schedule is available on the website or anywhere else that I can find.

Imagine Bobby McPherin with a full vocal range..........2003-06-11

I caught Neri Per Caso on a live Italian satellite broadcast while surfing the music channels. Since it was all in Italian, I couldn't tell what the title of the tune that I joined in progress, but their stellar harmony stopped me in my tracks. Their subsequent number was Amore Psicologico, which allowed me to track it down through CDFlash, an Italian music site. There are a handful of tracks from each of their previous albums, and the wall of sound that they create raises the hair on the back of my arm when I find the 'sweet spot' between the speakers. Back in early 2002, it was cheaper through Italy, now it's cheaper through CDNow.

Maybe not quite the "best of," but..........2002-08-27

Since their debut album, "Le Ragazze," in 1995, I've enjoyed listening to Neri per Caso and look forward to every new album release. Even though I already have all five of NpC's previous CDs, and there are only two new songs ["Amore psicologico" and "Tu sei per me"] on this 17-track compilation disc, "La Raccolta" is a welcome addition to my Neri music collection. The 15 songs demonstrate a sort of chronological history of the group, featuring mostly a cappella performances which best characterize the sound of the six "ragazzi" from Salerno, Italy.

Except for "'A Malatia 'e l'America" (in Neapolitan dialect) and a cover of The Beatles' "Here, There and Everywhere," all songs are in Italian. But all lyrics are included in the CD booklet, and without much effort you'll probably find yourself singing along.

It would've been nice to have a few songs that the Neri have performed live but have yet to record included here (especially "Englishman in New York" or "Guantanamera"), but, in any case, being able to listen to almost an hour of the magical voices of NpC is not bad at all.

Great harmony sound.......2001-06-16

Another great album by this talented bunch but they have lost a little of the magic that made the first one so special. More instruments have infiltrated this time but still plenty of vocal harmony and a great version of Good Morning Sunshine. I won't desert you boys!!

Some people said that "Angelo Blu" is not good because it's not an a capella album, but I don't think so. This is a great success of the trial to non-a cappella which failed in "Strumenti". In the album, they demonstrated their pleasure of music as usual.

This recent cd by Neri per Caso is a really nice development from their original a capella album. Mostly accompanied, the songs here offer new opportunies for the group to explore their vocal possibilites and create some new sounds. An interesting and varied selection of songs. The group's sound has developed and has become quite poppy,but they're obviously strong musicians. Funky tunes, excellent musicianship and sensitive arrangements make this a great cd and I am pleased to have bought it.

Where are the a capella songs?.......2000-06-21

A message to Neri per Caso: I am a big fan because you are the best a capella group ever. So, please, don't try to be another boys-pop-group. There are enough of those guys around and this is not what I expect from NPC.

OK, the CD has TWO a capella songs, but, again, this is not why most people (outside Italy, at least) buy NPC CDs. They may be the Italian N'Sync, but if they go through this path NPC will be just another group around.

I know it must be hard to come with one a capella CD after another but we waited for so long...

I think this is an excellent album (as always). It's a little different , (un po' piú commerciale) maybe easier to listen because of the music but the voices are incredible, quality 100% and fresh music. The style does not change they are really great singers and musicians! I hope they could come to Mexico soon.! Thank you

Neri Per Caso is one of those rare vocal groups that beams a load of pure energy into your heart. Their ability to make you rock is undeniable. Neri brought a new life-energy into the a cappella style.
