Nothing earthshattering to be honest.......2002-05-20

Onar can surely write some sleepy , relaxing melodies yet their debut has nothing more to offer besides that . The problem with " To Ergo Pu Pezun Ta Matia Su " is simple : it lacks good vocals and the inspiration to help these twelve tracks take off . The lyrics sound like they have just come out of a fifteen year old girl's poem diary and even though the artwork and the tittles imply something deep and dark , we never receive it.

Why we love her!.......2002-07-27

This is a woman who has sung practically every style of music in her 30 plus year career (she had her first hit at 13!). What she serves us in her December 2000 release is a pleasant mix of ballads, some pop laika and some Latin numbers. This is an album that you will either love or loathe. One thing is for sure though; the beautiful voice of Diamanti these days sounds a million miles away from the girlish tones of her earlier career. However, it now possesses a beauty that few singers in Greece (or anywhere, for that matter) can rival. In more recent years, Litsa Diamanti has been more successful with lighthearted Greek-style pop songs, however, on this album it is the three ballads that are the stand out tracks. This album was not as successful as it should have been, making only a brief appearance in Greece's charts. It is high time that Minos-EMI started taking more care of its greatest diva!
