An absolutely definitive collection of an almost peerless pure-pop singer. Sure, this only covers Ms Day's later ('50s/'60s) period, but it's her very best nonetheless.

Everyone knows the hits which were defined by her and only her ("Move Over Darling", "Que Sera, Que Sera", "Pillow Talk"), but this disc is also filled with Ms D's take on standards such as "Over the Rainbow", "Bewitched", and "Fly Me to the Moon" (dare I say it's the best version I've heard of that one thus far?) - to name a few - and these are usually solid interpetations, save for a somewhat breathless and limp "Night and Day". She could and should've done better there.

OK, so she wasn't the traditionally "best" singer of her generation, but mid-20th century pop rarley sounded this sweet and yes, shiny. So bring on the sunshine, lollipops and rainbows :-)))

Great CD of Doris Day.......2007-05-24

I hear "Fly Me to the Moon" of Doris many times, it is wonderful.
I became a great fan from the ordinary fan of Doris with this music.
Much other good music is recorded. I recommend buying this CD by all means. I shared why many people became her fan a little.
