Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Ann Richards.......2006-11-05

Ann Richards who sang with the Stan Kenton orchestra toward the
end of its reign was a dynamic personality and voice, and what she
did not have as jazz instinct she made up for in uniqueness of
expression. She had a big voice, and she ran with the giants for
just a short while. There isn't much around from her, as the big band era
fizzled just as she was breaking out and she had to do other things
in "show business" to get by. This CD shows her with Kenton at her best.
