5 out of 5 stars EASY LISTENING BEATLE MUSIC.......2005-12-29

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU I WAS NOT MUCH OF A BEATLES FAN. BUT AFTER LISTENING TO THIS CD THAT ALL CHANGED. PERCY FAITH ABSOLUTELY TRANSFORMS THESE SONGS INTO BEAUTIFUL CONCERTOS. THERE ARE THREE SONGS ON THIS CD THAT IN THEMSELVES ARE WORTH THE PRICE OF THE CD. "HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE", "MICHELLE", AND "BECAUSE". LISTENING TO THESE SONGS WAS SO RELAXING.

5 out of 5 stars IT'S APERCY FAITH CLASSIC!!!.......2003-06-08

2 years ago my dad bought a percy faith cd and it was very good. I really like the way percy faith conducts his music. I'm 30 years old but apprecicate good violin music when I hear it. Percy faith plays the beatles and jesus christ superstar exellent. The only track on the beatles album I didn't know was because. But other than that I would reccomend this cd for easy listening fans everywhere.

5 out of 5 stars "The Beatles meet Jesus Christ Superstar" ~ Percy Faith".......2003-06-04

Percy Faith is the master of arranging easy listening from "Rock" to "Show Tunes" ~ and "The Beatles Album/Jesus Christ Superstar", was a natural. Faith's formula is always to keep the arrangements fresh and new with his distinctive style and pen in hand his baton does the rest. His tasteful treatments always highlights the quality of the composition, ultimately making them a hit all over again.

One only needs to sit down and soak up ~ "LET IT BE", NORWEGIAN WOOD", "MICHELLE" as entire orchestra comes through with solid enchantment within velvety mood swings and the strings answer to counterpoints of harmony.

And look out Mr. Webber you're about to hear "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR", with the "Percy Faith Touch" with all the full bodied dynamics that puts all of his fans into a musical frenzy. The team up of Percy Faith and Andrew Lloyd Webber was inevitable ~ both men compose with zestful enthusiasm giving the listener not only what they were looking for, but what that weren't and enjoying every morsel.

Just a wonderful "Digital CD" format ~ hats off to all responsible for this outstanding package of both albums under one roof. This is one of those incredible albums in which each and every selection is excellently performed ~ it just doesn't get any better than this, gotta love it!
