The tracks on this collection are generally not well known. Petula's hit making days were largely over, but she continued to maintain a high quality of music. There is plenty of variation, with a good mix of ballads and more upbeat songs. Petula sings everything here in French except the final track, Make a time for lovin', which she sings in English.

There are not many cover versions here - the most famous song here is I don't know how to love him, which actually begins with Jesus Christ superstar. There are also lovely versions of Beautiful sounds, Marie De Vere and Close your eyes. Those songs should be familiar to Petula's fans via their English versions, though the wider public are unlikely to recognise them.

There are plenty of original French songs that Petula sings superbly (of course). Petula's loyal fans will find much to enjoy about this collection.
